The Maroons come into this one after a tough loss at home against Woodford. They are currently 2-2 and this opens their district schedule. They ran for 200 against Woodford but the pass game struggled as they only managed to go 6-18.

South Laurel comes into this one after knocking off Estill 41-14. The Cardinals are 3-1 currently on the year. Mason Griffin finished 31-47 for 274 and 3 TDs.

There's currently a lot of buzz for South Laurel. This is also Hines first game against his former team, and the game will be at South Laurel. Can SL hang around and keep it close? Does PC try to make a statement in the district in this game? Are the story lines good but the game probably a beat down?

I'm not sure what result I'd like to see in this one.

Has this been dubbed “The Hines Bowl”?

Can also add that new PC HC Travis Burns was a South Laurel graduate. The story lines continue!

Wow. The storylines in this game are wild. I am not sure why but I had it in my mind that he was from OHIO.
