7. North Oldham at 5A South Oldham
8. Johnson Central at 2A Breathitt County
9. Bardstown at #6 Ashland
10. Allen County-Scottsville at 3A Glasgow

The Patriots of Allen County Scottsville cracking the Top 10, I can get behind that, was very impressed with their outing last week. 

Just mail Boyle County the trophy. 

Outside of Boyle County being as good as they are, Paducah looks really good and the same can be said for Franklin County and Corbin. I figured Corbin would be good again but they are better than I expected overall. Covington Catholic will continue to get better as well. 

Paducah is very very talented but they have to clean the penalties up. From what I've seen from Boyle they can just impose there will on you until your in submission.  4A is solid but my guess is Boyle will be hard to trip up this year again.

Boyle comes in at #14 in the NATION! Going to be hard for anyone in 4a to compete with them. Coach Haddix is doing a phenomenal job

Boyle at # 14 in the country but will probably debut at # 4 in 4A in the RPI.  ?

4A (top 10) has a lot of matchups against 5A schools this week and it’s looking like they’ll win all of them. 4A is the best pound for pound class this year.

I'm beginning to think that as well. #1 is elite, #2-#7 appear to be very strong, and then a dropoff to #8-#10 where there could be shuffle, including shuffling with other 4A teams.  For example, I never want to count out the coaches at Spencer County, Logan County, and Desales.  Top to bottom the East Region is a veritable Murderer's Row.

Reminds me of this post I made in April and this thread from last year:

With all that in mind Commissioner Tackett, please consider dumping the RPI and replacing it with: https://calpreps.com/  Then every team can play a schedule that is right for them and the "science" used to determine the playoff seeding will follow the legal principle, best evidence rule.  And you know what Commish, we ALL know calpreps is superior, far superior.  And again, the RPI undermines the integrity of both the Kentucky High School Athletic Association and Kentucky High School Football.

Couldn't agree more.  Boyle stuns the #12 team in Nation and gets the same value as beating a hapless Metro Nashville team from here in TN. Makes zero logic. As you said, use CalPreps! Please!!!
