Campbellsville will host Danville on Thursday night this week… Campbellsville comes in off a win at Bethlehem and Danville comes in off an open week… who gets the W… 

Hard for me to see how this doesn't turn into another running clock for Danville and early.  They may also be without Trinden Sellers, arguably their best playmaker, because he was tossed for two personal foul calls in the Ads last game against Knox Central.  Campbellsville has a dynamic offense and its tough for me to see the Ads managing to slow it down enough.

What I'd like to see from the Ads is some improvement in this game in terms of reducing penalties and moving the ball more upfield.  They have only scored 13 points this year, which is the lowest in Class 2A.

That 13 point stat is just mind blowing. Halfway through the season Danville is 2nd in the state is points scored, but on the bottom end. Only Holmes has scored less points (12).

And those 13 points have been in "garbage time" of games in the 4th quarter.  Ads haven't scored in the 1st-3rd quarters all year long.

Confirmed that Trinden Sellers sitting out because of the 2 personal fouls versus Knox Central.  Big blow to the Ads special teams/offense.

Jutayvion Beasley (so.) takes the ball to the Ads 19 to start the drive.

By the way, this is senior night for Campbellsville.

Admirals first drive

1st & 10 - K.J. Dismeaux (jr.) runs for 1 yard.

2nd & 9 - Dismeaux knocked back on a run up the middle for a 2 yard loss.

3rd & 11 - Ads flagged for a false start.  The Boyle County sheriff is getting their money's worth for sponsoring the penalties this year!

3rd & 16 - Naythan Doyle (fr.) throws a screen to J'Kaivin Walker (jr.) for a 7 yard gain.

4th & 9 - New punter for the Ads as Kingston McGirr (so.) punts to Cross Watson (jr.), who takes it to the Ads 30 yard line.

Eagles first drive

1st & 10 - Watson runs to the Ads 6 yard line.  24 yard run.  FIRST DOWN.

And the Ads radio feed on WHIR has gone out....

1st & 10 - Ads in shotgun.  Doyle throws a screen to Walker but it is incomplete.

2nd & 10 - Doyle throws a screen pass to Beasley for a 3 yard gain.

3rd & 7 - Doyle throws a screen pass to Walker but Walker drops it.

4th & 7 - Campbellsville fair catches the punt at their own 37.
