LCA (2-2) is coming off a monster win over Christian Academy of Louisville one week after dispatching Pikeville. They have established momentum after an 0-2 start. Lexington Catholic (0-4) is still searching for their first win after falling short by 7 points to Great Crossing in Week 4. The Knights have two really hard games left on their schedule, both of which happen in the next two weeks with LCA and then Boyle County.

Last year Brady Hensley scored five rushing touchdowns to hoist LCA over the Knights 49 to 42. He is now gone and the LCA run game has become more multi-faceted. On paper LCA looks like a winner here. However, there is an argument for Catholic here. They have shown they have the ability to score points. They just haven't shown offensive consistency. Defensively they have had their moments, they just can't string together a full game. If they can slow down the LCA running game and limit the offensive miscues, they have a chance.

Lex Cath at 0 - 6.  Who woulda thunk it?

I’m guessing things must really be downhill for them. I know Lexington Catholic has had their better seasons and some not as good, but I can’t remember them starting this badly.
