I think with ALL that goes into a game and all the moving parts, emphasis on knee pads covering the knee is minuscule.

I would be curious to see how many kneepads have saved actual knee injuries. In today's game, kneepads are about the size of a sand dollar or smaller. Half the time it is enforced in the 1st 5 minutes of the game and then never looked at again.

I was under the impression that it was the coaches association but could be wrong. What I'm saying is if you are awarding the best football player, Quisenberry encompasses everything you'd want. Can play any skill position at a high level in all three phases of the game.

If Quisenberry doesn't win Mr. Football the system is flawed lol.
