This is one of the bigger matchups of week 11. This is year 4 of these two playing each other week 11, with the road team winning rather decisively in every matchup. This game is huge for RPI purposes as Boyle County looks to leap Franklin and Paducah and Douglass looks to jump Trinity.

Douglass comes into this one winners of three straight and 6-3 on the season. Strautman leads the way at the QB position, and his favorite target Aevion Chenault has 12 TD catches on the season. The Broncos bread and butter though is their run game, led by Peyton Smith, Dakari Talbert, Pharo Watts, TayTay Allen, and now back healthy, Derion Talbert. There is no shortage of weapons for the Broncos. Logan Busson is the defensive leader for Douglass, but he has plenty of talent surrounding him with the likes of Cedric Works and Kaden Clay.

Boyle comes into this one winners of 29 straight. Their last loss, was at home against Douglass in this same game two years ago. Boyle outscored their district 199-6, and most of their starters haven't played a full game since their big win over St. Edward. Boyle will need to be firing on all cylinders for this one. First year QB Baylor Murphy leads the helm with 1537 yards, 23 TDs, and maybe most importantly 0 INTs. His cabinet of weapons include Mr. Football Favorite Montavin Quisenberry who scores 14.2 points per game with 1100 yards and 19 TDs on the year. Not to be forgotten is Demauriah Brown with around 900 yards and 11 TDs, then other guys like Seneca Driver, Lyndon Smith, Austin Bodner, Brock Driver, and Gage Feltner. This is a very explosive team.

Home teams are 0-3 in these games. Does Boyle get revenge from two years ago? Or does Douglass knock off the Rebels at home and build on the momentum heading to the playoffs?

This is an interesting series that is now in its 4th year and as @DearTodaystated above. What makes it interesting is that the visiting team has won every game so far in the series. Boyle defeated Douglass in 2021 at Douglass 34-7. In 2022 Douglass returned the favor by going down to Boyle and defeating the Rebels 37-6. Last season the Rebels came back up to "The Farm" and beat the Broncos 28-7. It is also interesting that Boyle's last loss was that 37-6 loss to Douglass in the final regular season game of the 2022 season, they have since then won 29 straight games. This will be a huge test for Douglass. I think to have a shot they will need to control the possessions with their strong running game with their 4 very good backs and keep the Rebel offense on the sideline as much as possible.

This will be a huge task for the Broncos against arguably the best team in Kentucky no matter what class. They do have a common opponent in Bryan Station. Boyle defeated the Defenders 48-8 on Aug. 31 and Douglass defeated Station 24-6 on Oct. 19th. I hope is a good game but above all both of these awesome teams should go deep into the playoffs starting next week. I just hope both teams get through this one without any injuries. 

This is going to be a game where Coach Haddix will have the ball in Quisenberry and Brown's hands most of the game. Something like the Saint Edward game. The key for Boyle is who is going to cover Aveion Chenault and the return of Derion Talbert. Boyle wins a close one 28-21. 

It’s wild that in the three previous games between the two teams none have been close.

Both teams are battle tested and ready to go. Frederick Douglass has the size and athleticism to keep this game close, but I just can't help but picture Boyle County winning by 3 scores. I wouldn't be surprised if it was closer, but this is where Boyle County starts to hit their stride. Good luck to both teams and safe travels to Frederick Douglass!

Can’t see this being a running clock.  Too many good players and coaching on both teams.

It’s going to be a great game but give me the Rebels by 14.

I think this game may be dependent on how health Quisenberry is for the game. I have heard he has a ankle injury that has led to limited use in the last couple games and a notable limp. FD has the horses on defense to make it a really good game. it will depend on how personal this game is to FD in my opinion.

If he's not 100% then no way would I play him especially this close to playoffs and could withhold him from first round game since that's going to be a blow out game.
