Saw on X that coach volker is rumored to have taken a teaching job in Ohio. Any truth to this?

From my experience, your mega camps are money grabs for the schools. For example, the state has a summer camp with 500+ kids. The kids they are recruiting are the ones personally invited to the camp, and are not paying for the camp. There are a ton of other schools there, and it can be a good opportunity to get seen by other schools (MAC, FCS, D2, etc.). The most beneficial camps from my perspective, for recruiting, are the smaller satellite camps, or camps that a coach is personally inviting a player to. For transparency- I went to over 20 camps my senior year of high school (2013) and only got offers at the smaller satellite camps that were off campus.

I do not know anything about Carter Black so I can not say.

Moves for this year: Tyler Morgan is going to Campbell county. Greg Ryan is coaching offensive line.

Coach Collinsworth is still the defensive coordinator. He did not leave.

I doubt it’s cheaper. D2 stack academic and athletic money. The can give basically full rides, which is what I would assume he had at Hillsdale.

I’m almost certain it’s 85 scholarships for FBS, 63 for FCS.

It’s a PWO. I can confirm. Best of luck to him! I firmly believe he is a D1 talent. Hope to see him get some PT for the Cards next year!

I don’t understand this one. The admin have known this was going to open since coach Rash took the job. Why is this taking so long? The kids are the one that get hurt the most from this. They are going to miss atleast a month of offseason work.

Agree w/ you on this. I played on a couple bad HS teams. Played good competition (6A), had good film, went to camps and performed well, and got a full ride D1.

The have great facilities. Tough district. They should get some good applicants.

Best player to ever come through Ryle.

Heck of a season for Ryle. Overcame a lot of injuries to get to the Semis. Great culture and staff. I am a very proud Alum.

Hope Ryle can get healthy for this one. They have a really good group of seniors. South Warren is well coached. Jami Deberry is on their staff- he was the special teams coordinator at Indiana state with Mike Sanford Sr and WKU with Mike Sanford JR, he also coached at southern Illinois for a short stent. SW will be well coached especially in special teams, which is an underrated area in High school football. I will be cheering for Ryle in this one, but it should be a good match up.

I’m not 100% how it works as far as “split”. I just know that both teams get a chuck of the pie. Official pay and travel expenses definitely have to factored in. I also know that the ticket prices for playoff games go up.
