When I say money, I mean money for the schools. They split the gate. Why would any team turn that down? Teams # 3 & 4 in that district aren’t going to turn that down.

It’s all about money. More teams in the playoffs, more games, more gate $$. It’s not about that quality of the games.

Yes. It is just as good as some FCS games on Saturdays.

I for the life of me cannot understand how he had no D1 offers. I have sent his stuff to multiple D1 coaches and nothing. It’s the way recruiting works now- most want transfer portal kids.

Regardless if he wins Mr. Football, Jacob savage is the best high school player I have ever seen in person. I think he should be the front runner, but with the tough schedule Ryle played and the tough path to the state finals, I could see the voters going with someone else. He is a true 2 way stud. Reminds me a lot of Travis Elliot as a runner, but is just as good on the defensive side of the ball. Cam O'Hara is also very impressive. He is putting up massive numbers.

Last in the district. Missed playoffs. Wouldn’t call that a decent season by any stretch.

Very sad. Coach Trosper was a staple in the NKY football community. Prayers for his family.

They had 3 interviews today & 1-2 last week. I believe they are having 2 more tomorrow. 3 of the interviews are current/former assistants. The rest are outside candidates.

CCH hired a S&C coach at one point (They may have had a couple since they initially started a few years back). I know the basketball team wasn't a huge fan when Ruthsatz was there, they started going back to ASAP to train- Not sure about the Bball team now. Football trains at Nevels in Newport, but I believe that is only for speed & agility training. To my knowledge they still have an in house strength program.
