DevilMayCare Posted Monday at 12:48 AM Posted Monday at 12:48 AM 🗡️ Collins (7-3, 5A #10) vs. 🇵🇱 Dixie Heights (4-6) 🗞 Premier Quarterback Battle Set For Edgewood The Titans and Colonels mirror each other in multiple ways: both have beaten the teams they were supposed to and lost to the ranked teams on their respective schedules, including the likes of Beechwood, CovCath, Scott County, and Wofo. Most notably, both offenses are quarterback driven. Kade Goodin and Mason Fields will be front and center for this first round contest. Dixie’s signal caller stands tall (6’4”) in the pocket and stretches the field with a rocket arm. Goodin stretches the field as well, but does it with his arm and legs. This has the potential to be one of the more exciting, fast paced games of the first round if both quarterbacks are allowed to operate unfettered. ‼️Live Stream‼️ 1 1
Oldercoach Posted Monday at 12:32 PM Posted Monday at 12:32 PM Isn’t Roy Lucas’s brother Jerry the one and only football coach at Collins? Bringing his team back to his NKy roots with a premier/athletic QB. This game has potential to be a shootout. 2

New Colonel Posted Monday at 02:29 PM Posted Monday at 02:29 PM The 7-3 Collins Titans travel up from Shelbyville to Edgewood to take on the Colonels. I know nothing about Collins, except that they are 7-3 and finished 3rd in their district. Dixie is 4-6 and finished 2nd in their district. My assumption is that Collins' district is extremely competitive based off of thier record, meanwhile Dixie's is extremely weak. Who you all got? Collins fans, please chime in with info on the team. It is strange to me how KY sets up playoffs and that a 7 win team will have to travel to a 4 win team. But that's a different conversation. 1
barrel Posted Tuesday at 02:35 PM Posted Tuesday at 02:35 PM When comparing schedules I’m not sure if Dixie finishes 7-3 with Collins schedule but I don’t think Collins finishes any better than 5-5 with Dixie’s schedule. 1
nees1212 Posted Tuesday at 05:36 PM Posted Tuesday at 05:36 PM I don't know much about Collins, and their losses don't tell you a ton. Woodford threw all over them. Scott Co ran all over them. North Laurel had a balanced attack. I think Dixie is going to have to have a balanced attack to beat them with Fields running the ball more than during the regular season. He showed flashes at Ryle last week. There is no next week if you lose, so you have to remove the protective bubble around him and let him go. Collins appears to have a dual threat QB, so Dixie has to contain and tackle, something they've had a problem with against quality opponents. If they tackle like they did against Ryle, it's going to be a long night. 1
theguru Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago Touchdown Collins, they pretty much went right down the field.
theguru Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago Dixie punted, Collins ball on their 44. If Collins scores again here this is going to be a running clock.
theguru Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago 21-0 I can't imagine the Dixie power that be are going to be happy after this game.
