  2. No way. Do you remember what it was like in the few years before he got there. I remember them losing 63-7 to Ryle at nippert stadium in 2010. Blow out loses like that do not happen under eviston.
  3. Campbell County at Ryle District play gets underway Friday night as Ryle hosts Campbell County at Clifford R. Borland Sr. Stadium. The Raiders enter at 2-4 after snapping a three-game losing streak with a 35-0 road win over Tates Creek. Campbell County comes in at 3-3 after a 31-7 victory over Newport Central Catholic last Friday, giving the Camels their first win in three games. The Raiders won last year's matchup 54-0 and also posted wins of 42-14 in 2024, 37-36 in 2023, and 35-20 in 2022. But Friday's matchup carries added weight with both teams opening 6A District 6 play. Ryle vs. Campbell County Friday, October 9 7:00 p.m. Clifford R. Borland Sr. Stadium Union, KY
  4. This will be a good game. Winner of this game will win the district in my opinion.

  6. Need a minimum of 2 days of lifting during the season. Young guys/JV only guys should really be getting 3 days in. Most other states have in school strength and conditioning which makes it easier. Less volume during the season (less sets), looking to maintain strength, limit injuries, etc. Kentucky as a whole is way being the 8 ball when it comes to strength and conditioning. All schools should really have a full time (Certified) strength coach that runs all the S&C for all the sports.

  8. He isn't very good. Bottom 1/2 left tackle in the NFL. He also has the worst stance I have ever seen in my entire life.
  9. Ryle over highlands in 2010. It was the first time highlands had lost to a NKY team in years (I don't know how long). Ryle went on to lose to Trinity in the state Semi-Finals. Highlands had Patrick Towles at QB. It was the 2nd time those teams had met that season.
  10. Ryle at Tates Creek Ryle (1-4) hits the road Friday night for a matchup with Tates Creek (1-4) in Lexington. The Raiders are looking to bounce back after a difficult stretch that has seen them face some of Northern Kentucky's top programs. Tates Creek enters at 1-4 after a 21-3 loss to Bryan Station last week. The teams met for the first time last season, with Ryle earning a 37-0 shutout victory in Union. Ryle went on to finish 10-4, while Tates Creek finished 4-7. This year's matchup moves to Lexington, giving the Commodores home-field advantage as they look to even the all-time series. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. Friday night.

  12. CAL has more top end talent than anyone in the state. Trinity has more depth and more very good players. I'd love to see that game.
  13. "Small school being lower half of classifications, which is 3A or smaller in current 6 class alignment and 2A or lower back in the 4 class alignment." This is the definition per the post. 3A is a small school for the sake of this argument.
  14. Boyle County Johnson Central Baylor School (TN) Pulaski County Owensboro Tiebreaker #1: 56
  15. Ryle at Christian Academy of Louisville Friday, September 11 | 7:30 PM The Ryle Raiders hit the road Friday night for one of their toughest tests of the season against the defending Class 3A state champion Christian Academy of Louisville. Ryle enters 1-2 after being shut out 11-0 by Cooper last Friday, the first shutout in the history of the Ryle-Cooper series. CAL is 3-0 and has been dominant, outscoring opponents 159-21. The Centurions have posted consecutive shutouts of Pikeville (41-0) and Owensboro (52-0) before defeating Lexington Christian 66-21 last week. CAL also holds a 2-1 advantage all-time against Ryle, including a 34-27 victory in Union last season. Ryle (1-2) at Christian Academy of Louisville (3-0) Friday, September 11 | 7:30 PM Louisville, KY
