Boone County travels to Edgewood tonight to take on Dixie for their senior night. We have two run heavy teams having 2 of the top 3 rushers in NKY moving in opposite directions. It looks like Boone has been dealing with some injuries that has moved their stud running back (Johnson) into the QB position. Dixie has their workhorse in Gilliland, but their QB (Shatzman) has been growing week to week and put up over 200 yards last week versus Conner. As he and the coaching staff gain confidence in the passing game, teams can no longer stack the box to stop the run. A win by Dixie, and they lock up the #2 seed in the district, and they get to host a first round playoff game in a rematch of last year with Collins.

Dixie rolls. Running clock in the 3rd.
