Great Crossing at Ryle

Ryle (3-4) hosts Great Crossing (1-6) Friday night in a District match up.

The Raiders enter on a two-game winning streak after shutting out Tates Creek 35-0 and defeating Campbell County 13-6. Ryle’s defense has allowed just six points over its last two games.

Great Crossing picked up its first win of the season last week, beating Simon Kenton 21-14.

Ryle won last year’s regular-season meeting 46-20 on the road and will look to repeat that performance at home.

Kickoff: Friday at 7:30 p.m.
Location: Clifford R. Borland Sr. Stadium, Union, KY

Can the Raiders make it three straight wins?

Ryle in a close one. D is playing well aside from stopping power runs. The offense is here and there at times. 7 point win at home.

Raiders win 21-6.

I think Ryle keeps the momentum going, making it 3 in a row. GC I feel got lucky to escape last week with a win. SK probably wins that game 8 out of 10 times. Ryle's defense will be the difference in this one. 35-14 Ryle!

I picked Ryle, but only because they're home. I also think GC makes it a game now that they know what winning feels like.

Ryle gets win heading into SK. Coach Engler and staff turning it around through district play.

Tough one, give me the home team, Ryle.

The district appears to be more even than in the past. Great night for football at Clifford R Borland stadium. Home team pulls out the win.

Getting ready to kickoff. Ryle is in all orange with black helmets, GC all white.

I think it is 7-0 Ryle.

Touchdown Great Crossing. QB did a great job of scrambling and then finding a wide open receiver in the end zone. Going for two. Intercepted.

7-6 Ryle I think.

I think it is the same score at the half but it is tough to get a score on the broadcast.

Ryle to about the 18.

13-6 Ryle in the 3rd.
