Ryle does not have in school weight lifting (Unless this has changed just recently). I do not think any schools in Boone or Kenton county do in school Strength & Conditioning. Most schools are before &/or after.

The job is currently posted (https://grantcounty.tedk12.com/hire/ViewJob.aspx?JobID=2793), So it looks like they are looking to hire a full time candidate. I do know that they are currently running workouts and have a parent meeting this week under an interim head coach- one of the assistants from last season. I think that if they do not find a quality candidate they will run this year with an interim and reassess the job for next season.

Yes. Very sad, but can’t blame him for leaving. Rough timing to try to find a new coach before August.

I always thought this was a cool event. Wish they would make a bigger deal about it for the kids. I think it could be a really good event for northern kentucky football

I would agree. Only reason I said lateral move is because the pay is better in Kenton County than Boone. I don't think that would be enough to sway someone to move from Ryle to SK. Ryle has been rolling recently and their youth feeder program is second to none.

They have been talking about upgrading the field house for 15 years. I don't see it happening. Do you know something specific? Kenton county spends more money on athletics than Boone. With that being said- I don't think Engler would leave for SK. Seems like a Lateral move.

I believe you are correct. They don't have to play, but they play just about every year. They may have played every year since Ryle has been open, but I do not know for sure

Going with 4 Ryle- This year is Ryles best chance to win state. Trinity is down compared to years past (Ballard hung in there with them late last week) Cooper- Austin Alexander is unstoppable and they have multiple playmakers on offense CCH- They just beat the best team in the state. Can’t argue with that Beechwood- I can’t pick against them. Haven’t seen anyone really compete with them in their class.

All teams should have elements of the triple option in their offense. It allows you to be competitive even if you are outmatched physically or athletically.

It is not Ryan Ware. I would be very surprised if any of the coaches currently on Ryle’s staff applied for this job.

Boyle should handle them pretty easily. This is not a particularly good CCH team compared to what they have had in the past.

Ryle has a great opportunity. With manual losing, Ryle has the highest RPI remaining & should dodge Trinity/Frederick Douglas until state (assuming they both win).

I don't know much about him to be honest.
