The Central Hardin Bruins, an unlikely round 3 guest, make the jaunt up 71 to NKY to face the Raiders. Their hopes revolve around FB Seth Laudermilt, a 240# workhorse. Can Ryle slow him down? If so, it will be a long night for CH if they try to play catch up vs. the Raiders. I'm not sure about the status of Jacob Savage, who appeared to suffer a lower leg injury. His last play against St X was a 2-yard run on fourth down that started the running clock. Anything to talk about here as I know nothing about Central Hardin? Thoughts?

In TP94 ratings I trust. Ryle has a unique opportunity to rest their best player if circumstances warrant.

Ryle rolls into the semifinals. The canon will be firing so hope they stock up on shells after last night.

Central Hardin lives and dies lately with FB Seth Laudermilt. He has had huge games in the first 2 rounds vs Christian County and McCracken County. Central Hardin seems to be playing their best football all season with the offensive line providing Laudermilt with big holes to run thru. QB Caleb Irwin has really provided leadership for this team in the first year of learning the triple option under  coach Phillip Stockdale. Ryle will be a true test as to how far the Bruins have come this season. Can Central Hardin  establish a run game and limit the Raiders offensive touches? This is a tough task. This is a young team at the skill positions and should be much improved next year. This would be a true upset for the Bruins who have had to replace their entire backfield from graduation last season.
My prediction: Ryle 36 Central Hardin 14

Going to be 7.

I agree on 7 and I agree it is an unreal stat.  This is Ryle's year, hopefully they stay healthy.

This might be another running clock win for Ryle. After beating St X how they did last night, I don’t see Central Hardin making it too competitive.

Ryle 42-7.

Ryle should win this one pretty easily. Someone else mentioned it but they should get an opportunity to rest Savage, which is crazy in the 3rd round of the playoffs.
Good luck to both teams and hope for an injury free game.

Ryle has a great opportunity. With manual losing, Ryle has the highest RPI remaining & should dodge Trinity/Frederick Douglas until state (assuming they both win).

I don’t see this being a running clock. FB  Seth Laudermilt for the Bruins is a load at about 240#. He will run between the tackles and will need to be gang tackled to bring him down. Central Hardin doesn’t have much of a passing game but will take a shot downfield a few times a game. Pretty simple. Stop the Bruins run game and it will be a long night for Central Hardin. If Central Hardin can establish the run with Laudermilt, Gergley, and Rachau on the outside, they are absolutely physical enough up front to make this game interesting.

The strength of this Ryle defense is their front 6. Very good defensive line and very good linebackers. Good luck establishing the run without an effective pass game.
