I think you are sleeping a little on KCD and Campbellsville. Both returned big portions of their rosters from last year. I think there is more parity amongst the top 3/4 teams than in years past. But it is still early and a lot can, and probably will change by November.

Metcalfe just doesn’t have enough weapons to compete in this one. Somerset runs away with it.

Fully transparent. I’ve not seen Pikeville and I have no doubt they’ll be in the mix come Nov. because that’s what they do. I do question them being able to sit atop the rankings with 3 losses. Strength of schedule is great, but actually winning games should be taken into account.

Only remaining game where KCD will be tested is at Campbellsville. That game will have a district championship and huge RPI implications for the playoffs on the line! Go on and circle that one on your calendar for a must watch matchup!

Great win by Cville. Prove they are a legit contender in 1A IMO. Good luck to Hazard the rest of the way. Best wishes to anyone on their schedule for 26 & 27 -- A TON of young talent all over the field.

Very surprised by this score. I thought it would be very close and honestly a toss up in the 4th. Congrats to Union.

I agree. That “one pony” show comment is disrespect to a team that while it didn’t happen, should be rolling into the Sayre game undefeated because they have multiple ways to hurt people. Also disrespectful to Eastridge. He plays more like a thoroughbred (pun intended)…..kid is a winner.

Campbellsville has never made a state final.

I was told there would be a ruling tomorrow morning. But that was expected to happen today so….I’m sure they are being diligent, but how long can it take to break down 30-45 sec of film, identify those at fault and make a ruling. Be tough to make a game plan if the fate key personnel are in jeopardy.

Boyle in any game (ALL CLASSES) until someone proves they can knock them off.

Going with Hart 21-14. Solid team and well coached with the playoff experience to win tough games in November.

Watson is back and played well at Russellville — so that’s a plus. BUT, they are turning the ball over way too much dating back to that KCD game to win against NCC. Eager to hear if the Russellville ejections take away any of the Eagles top players.

Sayre is very very good but I just can’t pick against Pikeville until someone in 1A proves they can beat them. I anticipate a great game!

I think despite Paris having athletes to potentially cause Sayre fits at times, I think this one is another running clock for Sayre.

History has not been kind to Campbellsville playing at Russellville. I think this one comes down to the wire (especially if Watson doesn't play for Campbellsville), but I'll take Campbellsville to survive and advance.

I think KCD pulls away in the second half and wins... but I do expect a good ball game here.

Not sure if the Eagles have ever won at KCD. I expect this one to be a really good ballgame. But I think Cville is the better team and wins.

Campbellsville has rolled up the other two teams in district play. I don’t see that happening at KCD. I think this one goes to the wire but Campbellsville is the better team and finds a way to win.

I like Somerset in this one. They dropped a tough one to a very good Campbellsville team last week, but I believe they are a good team who has the pieces to win some games down the stretch.

Statement win for Campbellsville. Take away all of the penalties and it could have been much worse. If they stay healthy, they could find themselves in a regional title or final four situation again this year. They are a legit threat to get on the carpet IMO.

Adair rolls big

Great ball game last year. I look for the same early, but Campbellsville has too many weapons and pulls away in the 2nd half. Eager to see how they handle the road environment against a quality program though.
