I think NCC gets it done this year and beats them.

Here are the TP94 Power Ratings from last week:

Campbellsville         65.46
Newport Cen. Catholic         53.90

I think that NCC is better this season than they were last season, but I think Campbellsville probably wins closely. If I remember right, I believe Campbellsville turned the ball over multiple times and played carelessly against KCD earlier in the season. If that happens against NCC then Campbellsville will lose.

Did Campbellsville have any players ejected from the end of their game with Russellville?

It looks that way in this thread:

Watson is back and played well at Russellville — so that’s a plus. BUT, they are turning the ball over way too much dating back to that KCD game to win against NCC. Eager to hear if the Russellville ejections take away any of the Eagles top players.

None during the game, as it was called, aside from a Campbellsville coach that was escorted out after some choice words to the officials after the fact, I do believe he is suspended for at least this game and next if the Eagles advance.  I have heard KHSAA is reviewing and there is a possibility of some suspensions, but nothing confirmed yet.  I am almost sure on at least three for Campbellsville for the retalation to the blindside hit.  The "fight" happened on the Campbellsville sideline so nobody left the sideline, but there are rumors they are possibly considering suspending players that were pulling teammates out of the scrum and I really hope that isn't true, but nothing for sure as of now. Just some of the things I have heard.

If Campbellsville has player ejections, especially better players, that will obviously make an impact. Big difference maker in all of high school football and the difference gets bigger depending on numbers, quality of backups, etc. In smaller schools.

Any updates on if any kids will have to set this game out for Campbellsville?

I was wondering the same, it’s been quiet about it to this point.

There’s nothing new to update just a lot of the same rumors. Was told there was supposed to be news today but that has failed to come to fruition as of this time.

I was told there would be a ruling tomorrow morning. But that was expected to happen today so….I’m sure they are being diligent, but how long can it take to break down 30-45 sec of film, identify those at fault and make a ruling. Be tough to make a game plan if the fate key personnel are in jeopardy.
