Raceland can't look ahead. With Pikeville sitting at home and the idea of dancing in Lexington, they have to be laser-focused. Coach Jones has done a great job at KCD and understands what he must do to prepare his team. I believe this game will come down to the wire, with Raceland pulling away in the fourth. I think we will seed plenty of lead changes. It's going to come down to possessions and who values the football. Raceland scores late to win. Raceland 24 KCD - 17

I'm not sure what is going on with Jaggers, but appears the last two stops he has had didn't go well. He left Shelby mid-season.

Sad situation at Danville. They cannot miss on this hire. Whatever it takes to get the very best I say do it.

I want this to be a great game. With that being said I'm not sure about it... Pikeville has played a much stronger schedule. Paris best wins were against 2A Bracken and 1A Paris. Sayre has to shorten the game on offense by controlling the clock and limiting Pikeville's offense from having the football. I think Sayre will score. But my issue with Sayre is in the trenches. I look for Pikeville game plan to be like Raceland game last year, spread Sayre and pound the ball. Sayre don't have the big bodies for that type of game. Close game with Pikeville wearing them down in second half.

This one has the makings of being one of the best games in the state. Paris has the tools to compete. Last year game between these two teams was close early. Paris made some key mistakes that hurt them in the end. Sayre is small up front and surprisingly has done a good job protecting their QB. Sayre has the most underrated QB in the state. With the ball in his hands, I like Sayre in this one. But closer than people think. Sayre 31 Paris 24

Hills has beaten one team with a winning record at 5-4 overall. Combine records of the teams they have beaten are 14-40. So data that you are looking at is skewed.

This may be the toughest game on Sayre schedule.

It's sad what Danville has become. Bus drive will last longer than the game. Ads move to 0-9.

I appreciate the efforts of the adults at Jenkins trying to keep football alive. But it appears that this trend of having to end the program mid season my be creating more harm than good. Isn't this like the 3rd time this has occurred recently?

I really like what Coach Roberts is doing in North Oldham. BUT the Mustangs are built for what Franklin County has unfortunately. The Flyers are physical on both sides of the ball. This is something I credit Coach James for. The play with attitude and purpose. Flyers continue their winning ways.

Franklin County runs the clock late in the 3rd quarter. This will be the theme in district play. I think Spencer definitely will go toe to toe early in the game, but over time FCHS is just a couple of levels ahead of them and everyone else in that district. Franklin Co. 56 Spencer Co. 14
