Boyle County 47 Lexington Christian Academy 38

Was great game for this early in the season. Boyle made more plays and has few more players. I thought the speed of Boyle was an issue for LCA. -
Franklin County 17 Bryan Station 10

Flyers deserve all the credit. Coaching staff had a great game plan. They shortened the game by playing ball control. The offensive line dominated the game. Really surprised by the lack of offense I seen from Station. What I mean was they did nothing to make the Flyers uncomfortable. -
What is going on in Paris is they took a chance on a local guy who knows how to invest in relationships with young men.

This score surprises me. I would have thought Hazard would have won this one.

What is biggest disappointment is how bad the Panther o-line played. Very surprised by lack of movement and protection. Won't get any easier with Rockcastle and Fairdale on the schedule. Per Paris Coaching Staff Frankfort never traded film this week.
-
It's early new Coach. New System, working on new culture. Will take while to get the success Coach Davis has promised. Unfortunately, not sure the Panthers will win a game this year.

Solid win for Trinity. Look forward to seem the in person.

Trinity vs. Bryan Station Predictions/Updates

IF Trinity takes a loss at home Jay Cobb can pack his office up. This should be a great game. Station win is not going shock me, they are loaded. -

Danville in for very long season. -
Any update on this job? School starts next week.

Wish Coach Jointer the best. The bigger loss for Frankfort will be his son and I would assume the other young talented incoming freshman. Both those kids are legit. As for the FHS Principal day he left Frankfort got better.

Appears Coach Davis has completed his staff. The word is he struggled finding coaches which knew would be a hurdle coming into the job. His staff lacks high school coaching experience. The group of young coaches that should work hard for him. My concern is first year head coach having to develop a lot of young coaches as well as developing a team. Does have couple order guys with limited experience. Going into dead period not sure what the numbers are like. Based what they have shared on social media appears to be very limited. A lot of credit to Coach Davis he has been very active in the community.

This is a good job that has opened late. Will be interesting to see who actually applies.
-
What step are they in the process?
-
Appears the school will make formal announcement on Friday per parents.
-
Let me be first to welcome he and his family to the Capital. I wish him success.
-
Anyone have some info they can share about Coach Yogi Davis. I know he coming from outstanding program in Pikeville.
-
That is the name I am hearing. Per a parent he was in Frankfort touring on Friday.
-
Seems like good hire based on who I have been told. First issue for new coach is building a quality staff. Like I mentioned before no teaching positions in the district to build a staff. Going be hard to have guys commute from his part of state for $2k stipend. Wishe him luck.

@TheDeuceThat is good to know. The young men on that team deserve it.
