Former Danville head coach Mark Peach has been hired as an Assistant coach and will now serve as the offensive coordinator for Lincoln County. Peach has over 22 years of high school head coaching experience. Serving previously as head coach for Hancock County, Paul Lawrence Dunbar, Anderson County, Trigg County, and Danville. I’m his career, he has won 4 region championships, has made two appearances in the state championship game, and has had two undefeated regular seasons. His overall record includes 166 wins and 97 losses. With Lincoln County only having one winning season since 2007, I personally, think this is a huge hire and could be a big step in the right direction. Best of luck coach, and welcome to Lincoln County!

Mark Peach just told his team he has resigned per Larry Vaught Advocate Messenger. Peach spent two seasons at Danville going 13-12.

What is the process like of taking a less funded program that hasn't had a winning season in a few years, to becoming a state championship caliber team? 2. What is their thoughts on the current class alignment and future alignment. 3. The importance of youth football and recruiting.
