Casey County comes in with a 5-1 record, while Wayne county comes in with a 3-2 record. There is only one common opponent and that is Rockcastle county. Casey fell to Rockcastle in week one 24-35. Wayne county would shutout the rockets, two weeks later in week three 28-0. Wayne county is ranked 22nd in class 4A, while Casey County is ranked 10th in class 3A. I cannot tell you how excited I am to see Lincoln finally adding on to the field house. This is something that has been needed for a long time. I'm excited for the kids and the future of the program.

I second that. Spencer had the program going in the right direction, and I believe Josh will continue that. It’ll be interesting to see if this team can win a district title and/or regional championship in the next few years.

That would be pretty cool if they did. I know the gym at the new High school is really small. On a side note, I heard that Lincoln County is also working on their field house. I heard they were going to extend it out about 60 feet or more to accommodate for more lockers and a bigger restroom.

@WestDanville I would love to see Clevenger go to Garrard. He would do wonders for the program. Crutchfield has too good of a thing going on at Lincoln.

Lincoln County’s girls basketball head coach Brandon Fisher has resigned due to health reasons. This was made aware after a Facebook post made from WPBK-FM. Coach Fisher guided the Lady Patriots to a 9-15 season in his first and only season. The search for a new head coach will start immediately.
