Brief Press Release from the district:

The Lincoln County Board of Education voted unanimously tonight to begin designs on a turf football field that can also be used for soccer, a new press box, track renovations and an addition to the football field house.

HB 678 will allow the district to utilize restricted construction funds for these projects and no general fund money will be used.

Great news. Press box (many reasons) and field house (not big enough) definitely need improvements. The turf will help both football and soccer and the track improvements will make an already nice facility even better. Congratulations Lincoln County!

I cannot tell you how excited I am to see Lincoln finally adding on to the field house. This is something that has been needed for a long time. I'm excited for the kids and the future of the program.
