  1. No idea what coaching qualifications Robinson has, but rumor is he had the backing of a big PT booster. I would be shocked if he isn’t the next PT head coach. Have heard rumblings of this around WKY the past few weeks. Great job by Coach Smith. Class man who got a raw deal.
  2. Seems like to wait this long the administration has someone in mind for the position. I could be wrong but time will tell.
  3. What makes the Bathiany guy a quality candidate? To me he is an unknown. A lot different coaching high school football as the HC at Highlands then coaching on lower college levels as a position coach. If I’m Highlands I’m going after someone who is an established HC that has success building a program up. The Walton-Verona coach has done wonders and I think Lickert would also be a good hire as well.
  4. August 27th Jerry Claiborne Bowl Hopkinsville, KY Logan County vs Christian County Mayfield vs Hopkinsville
  5. I would assume that this would be an in-house hire.
  6. I would say Hopkinsville will be pretty good as well.
  7. No. It seems like it is definitely for recruiting purposes (Prep School, Greyshirt).
  8. Did I read correctly that Franklin County’s Soph RB was a Boyle County kid? What’s the story on that one?
  9. #8 for Boyle County is an absolute baller and their Offensive Line is really good. Congrats to them and Coach Haddix.
  10. Clayton hasn’t done it by himself over the years either though Region 2. He has had some really good staffs over that time as well. WKY football is down right now as far as too heavy teams but there are more decent to good teams in the western part of the state then that has been in a while. Trigg, Madisonville, and Christian County should be better next year as well.
  11. The schedule is nowhere near what Clark played. Logan wasn’t Logan & Madisonville wasn’t what they were the last two years. Clark never played Mayfield, Paducah, Henderson County or Caldwell County during that time either. Clark did a great job resurrecting the Hopkinsville program but comparing schedules is apples to oranges.
  12. 6- BG 5- Ashland 4- Paintsville 3- LCA 2- Boyle 1- Trinity TB-35
  13. Maybe so. I’d say they beat FC but FC is a top notch team. I don’t think they blow them out though.
  14. I would say the Top 5 in 4A this year were 1.) Boyle 2.) Franklin County 3.) Johnson Central 4.) Corbin 5.) Lex Cath
  15. I wouldn’t say that. Boyle County has beaten a lot of big name teams the same exact way. They are the Class of 4A.
  16. NFL & college teams have trouble doing that. That’s an impressive stat line.
  17. Hopkinsville can’t pass the ball? They have a power 5 WR in Reece Jesse and a big time sophomore WR in Daisjaun Mercer. They may not score as much but saying they cannot pass the football is pretty inaccurate.
  18. I believe Boyle is the definite favorite, but Hopkinsville has the athletes and I believe matches up with Boyle’s strengths fairly well. I believe this game will be an under the radar game that could be tight into the 4th quarter. I’ll go Boyle 35 Hopkinsville 21
  19. Never Won Bryan Station Hopkinsville St. X NCC Crittenden TB: 55
  20. In comparing schedules, seems like Hopkinsville has played tougher opponents. John Hardin has a smash mouth run game style but Hopkinsville’s opponents have also been smash mouth as well. How does John Hardin defend the passing attack of Hoptown? Think this is going to be a really good game as well.
  21. According to KHSAA website they host John Hardin.
  22. Henderson County season is over due to Covid-19 issues according to local beat-writer. Stinks for those young men and coaches.
