That Raceland game is a odd one.

I mean I have to admit I don’t know a lot about Dixie but they’ve not exactly been a powerhouse of late. I could be wrong it’s not like I’m a northern Kentucky expert but I wouldn’t think it would be impossible.

Fairly tough schedule, however the district seems manageable I think at the very least they should be able to secure a home playoff game.

Seems like you could cut back to 5 classes and then have a selection committee pick the 8 teams regardless of class to be in this playoff. That would give everyone that thinks they can compete with anyone in the state the opportunity and it would also give the schools not picked a better chance to win state in each class. Now this would never happen but it would be interesting.

Since they ain’t in the same class as my team I would like to see them get one they have been so close it would be nice to say all that hard work pay off.

130 players wow that’s a bunch, I assume roughly 30 of those give or take are freshman but that leaves a lot of players to try and figure out a starting group.

I know they lost their quarterback but outside of him it appears they didn’t lose a lot they will probably be a tough out this season.

I wouldn’t like having the bye week the second week of the season for one that’s a lot of games in a row and for two you just got the season started and everybody in excited just seems to early.

Because sometimes you just need to show people their place. Think back to elementary school there was always one kid running his mouth saying he was going to beat you sooner or later you have to have to put him in his place. Two years ago Boyle was are the hype after they beat that out of state team and everyone saying are they the best team in the state now it’s Cal you just have to put them in their place and show them who the big dog is.

Both of these games could be blowouts. Clay Co has been a good team in Tennessee’s smallest public school division including losing only two games last year. Barren will be too big and have way too many players for Clay to be competitive. If this had been 3 years ago I would’ve said man this will be one heck of a game however if SW is equal or worse than last year they will get waxed by the Scotties.

This is the most reasonable response I’ve seen. You have to play a few local teams. I think Arnett probably left because Dovies closed down haha.

I think if you are Trinity you play these teams like Boyle and Cal to shut them up and prove you are and have always been the best in the state. I can’t imagine a coach at Trinity thinking I don’t want to play those teams because I might lose.

Glasgow beginning next year will have 4 district games if they schedule a couple of tough teams but no one wants them playing the local teams then who are they going to play in the other 4 games. It’s real easy to say schedule tough games but at some point you have to get people to play you and that’s hard to do when you are trying to schedule 4-6 out of area teams every year. If you guys had to schedule these games you might find it more difficult then just saying do it.

I don’t know if any team other than Trinity could do anything with that schedule.

So what would you think a good schedule would be Bowling Green South Warren Highlands Trinity St Xavier Owensboro and then the district.

We will never be that lucky.

Does anyone know if Glasgow has a first scrimmage and if so who they play I know they scrimmage Larue in the second scrimmage but I haven’t seen a schedule showing a first scrimmage.

So will the new scoreboard still be on the KHSAA site or will we have to go to this albiter or whatever site.

There’s a distinct difference between these two, a lot of these teams are in OC’s Glasgow doesn’t not have that luxury because they have a bunch of rural schools around them that are local. I said it before and I will say it again I agree Glasgow needs to play a tougher schedule but unlike all of you guys every game doesn’t have to be 2 hours away playing teams they’ve never played before. They can play a couple tougher games and a couple games against local teams. By the way OC has the same amount of state championships as the Scotties zero so how has playing that schedule helped them.
