Yes but they play a fairly weak schedule so it’s hard to say they will be real good or not based on last year’s results. I think they will probably have a good season and finish second in their district which would put them playing either Glasgow Hart or Franklin Simpson in the first round of the playoffs and those teams are really athletic and I think it will be tough to win against either of the three.

On KHSAA it only shows them having 6 seniors so I don’t think they were a lot of returning players.

Well we might get to see because I think they will be in the cross district from Glasgow and Hart but I just don’t believe they are better than them but we will see as season progresses.

While I agree Bardstown will be good I’m just saying after winning 14 in a row they could possibly now be on a 2 game losing streak.

Interesting write up very knowledgeable but I don’t really see them going 5-5 I think their only two losses are to PT and Hoptown so I’m going with 8-2.

Bardstown started the season winning 14 in a row last year now they could be on a two game losing streak after this game I’m sure that will not make the faithful happy.

I think South will be a little better than most I think they win by a couple scores.

In Daviess County’s scrimmage with Glasgow they didn’t look real good I thought Glasgow was two to three TDS better but it was a little hard to know for sure with those 10 play sessions but I know DC only got in Glasgow territory once while Glasgow scored once and had two more plays whistled to stop that they were going to score one on a quarterback run where he was in the open field and no one was around him and the other was a interception that the Scottie player had smooth sailing all the way to end zone but they whistled it dead as well.

It kind of seems like Highlands is starting back in the right direction of becoming what they use to be so I’m going with them 35-14.

Don’t know a lot about Garrard, but I know Green is scrappy so I’m going with them 27-21.

Daviess Co at 28 and Glasgow at 59 is wrong somewhere because Glasgow appeared to be at least a couple scores better than DC in their scrimmage Friday night. Elizabethtown seems a little high and Taylor Co seems a little low. Just my thoughts.

I’m sure glad we don’t settle playoff games like that anymore.

Barren Co at Glasgow is a must see for me this is a crosstown rival game that BC pulled out of a few years ago because Glasgow had owned the series. BC has showed improvement the last couple years and I think they think that they can win now. But we will have to see I think the Scotties still get the win by two scores or more.

Ballard Memorial and Jenkins would be a good matchup I realize they are a long ways apart but maybe they could meet in the middle they are both struggling programs that need winnable opportunities.

I know Hart Co. is only showing nine on KHSAA site.

I may be a homer but I think the Glasgow at Daviess Co scrimmage Thursday should be a very good battle. Two teams that I feel like expect to be pretty solid squads.
