Landen Holley (Glasgow ‘27) Recruiting

Featured Replies

Looks like the young man is moving and enrolling at Glasgow. He comes from Florida and has a plethora of offers including Florida. Huge pickup for the Scotties. 3 Star according to 247.

Very excited about this kid.

Anyone know what position he plays or how big he is or anything.

Scouting Report

SIZE:
Landen has very good size for a 2027 Pro Style QB at 6'2" 175 lbs. A tall platform, able to survey the entire field. He plays with strong confidence in his game. Very good arm strength and vision downfield.
ACCURACY:
Landen's right on the mark with his throws. They come across with high velocity and sharp precision. Great instincts as he displays good anticipation and timing of his receivers routes.
ARM STRENGTH:
He fires the ball with increased acceleration, getting the ball out in a hurry. Strong vertical passing game which is deadly to opposing defenses.

With the success Glasgow had and with the Martin kid going to Missouri State kids will want to play for the Scotties. Proof that when you run a program the right way players these days will come.

There has got to be some type of connection to Glasgow or Kentucky though, right? That's a heck of a move from Orlando to here for 1 year of football.

My understanding is the parents are retiring from their business in Tampa and building their dream house in Glasgow. The kid had the opportunity to move with them and decided he’d like to have a normal hs experience get to spend the year before college with his family rather than being in Orlando.

Retiring to Kentucky from Florida you don’t see that a lot but it is a whole lot cheaper to build and live in general in Kentucky.

It’s. My understanding he’s already enrolled at Glasgow which is good because we will be there for offseason training and spring practice.

These generic write-ups are just that. It appears this player was not their primary QB unless there was an injury, and was outperformed by another Q from the same class on his team. May not have been much of an opportunity for playing time, offers or not. Not much other data available.

50% completion, 3TD/3INT if max preps is correct. Best of luck to him in his relocation.

I don’t trust MaxPreps they are way off on the stats for the Glasgow team for last year. But either way colleges of that caliber don’t offer you scholarships if you don’t have talent. He’s a welcome addition to the Scottie program and I’m sure they are thrilled to have him.

I've seen some videos posted of Glasgow recently; it seems like they have some really good athletes for Holley to get the ball to. Curious to see if Glasgow can get over the hump this season.

EKU, University of Ohio visited Spring Practice this morning. Louisville has also visited, UK may have interest if Nawrot ever decommits or they can't land carothers. Would have to imagine eyes on other athletes at Glasgow may lead to their talented skill positions also getting recruited.

I watched his highlights and he looks like he’s really accurate especially on the run. He seemed really elusive but not in a break lose and run down the field more of a move around till someone breaks open. I think this kid may end of being Glasgow’s best passing quarterback ever especially with all the weapons he has to work with.
