True they won't be able to practice right after school unless they do it indoors.

I don't think it will be an issue for the 7pm games Friday night it's supposed to be in mid 80s I think by then I don't think it would test high enough to be a problem usually the bowl games early in the season that start at 4 or 5 pm is when this is a problem.

Glasgow comes into this game 2-0 after winning the emotional crosstown matchup against Barren Co. Glasgow's offense was incredible in that game going for 499 yards of offense. The defense was a different story they couldn't get off the field until the fourth quarter and that ultimately gave them the victory. Monroe also comes into the game 2-0 after blowout victories over Warren Central and Allen Co. Scottsville. All I heard all offseason is how bad MC was going to be and my question is are they actually good. And I know what people are going to say they haven't played anyone which is true however I will say they beat Warren Central a lot worse than Franklin Simpson did who is normally a pretty good team. I mean you look at their schedule and you think outside of Glasgow, Barren Co. and Somerset who is going to beat them, maybe Campbellsville but they haven't looked good. So does Glasgow get the defense lined out and clock MC or does Monroe's offense go wild and make another shootout of this one because you know Glasgow is going to put points on the board.

Statement win.

I'm a little surprised by this score after them handling Russell and Metcalfe looking horrible in their first game I thought Adair clocking them. I thought maybe Adair could possibly get second in the district but after this one I don't know. They will beat Casey but I don't know after that.

If you like offense watch the stream on this one it was a great one. Holley was fantastic, Keyshawn Austin was fantastic with his 7 catches for 215 yards and 3 touchdowns the running backs was great and BC was great to they bullied Glasgow on offense for most of the night but to be honest Glasgow's line bullied them as well as great as the air attack was the ground game was great too. Bottom line both of these teams are quality teams that are going to win a lot of games but tonight it was whoever blinked first and thankfully for the Scotties that was Barren as they had to punt late Glasgow took the ball drove 91 yards and won the game with the touchdown. Neither of these teams are likely to win state but they are both top 10 teams in their class Glasgow may be top five.

I would say this game will boost Campbellsville’s confidence as they should be able to win this one fairly easily.

It’s funny to me sometimes how hard it is to find 10 quality teams in these lower classes. Monroe Co. was predicted on this site as going to be horrible this season and they win one game against a poor team and now they are ranked. And I’m not saying they don’t deserve it but it’s still kind of funny.

I hope so I hate seeing players not be able to play because you know they want to be out there so bad.

The Scotties started the season with a hard fought 35-16 victory over Southwestern. Now it’s on to crosstown rival Barren Co. Glasgow needs to get healthy they had two starting linemen out and a starting running back out for the Southwestern game. And then they lost probably their best athlete in the first half to a shoulder injury. I’m not sure how serious it is but if he can’t go against Barren it will be a big loss. However they still have plenty of athletes and I’m sure they expect a battle. Barren comes in off a big win over Clay Co. Tn. They looked impressive against the smaller Bulldogs. They are big and strong and have a couple quick guys including quarterback Briggs Harris and the wideout Pierce. After they demolished Logan Co. and Glasgow struggled against LC I’m sure Barren’s teams coaches and fans feel pretty good about this game as they very well should. So who wins the speed and athleticism of Glasgow or the size of Barren Co.?

If you consider how bad X looked against Owensboro and how good BG looked last night I’m going with BG 24-21.

I know some fans of Christian Co. was talking like the consolidation would make them a powerhouse. I never did believe that and hated to see Hopkinsville High be no more but at least the consolidation has made CC competitive I mean this teams only win last year was against probably the smallest school in the state in Caverna and it was close. I know Cooper is not the team they were but they are not Caverna either so I think CC has to feel ok after this loss.

Greenwood is going to have to play a lot better than that if this is the year they beat BG. They might ought to be worried about those Trojans about 30 miles east.

A win is a win I guess. I didn’t think Glasgow played real good and they already had two starters out and then Bradley hurt his shoulder in the first half not sure of the seriousness. Southwestern was big with all 5 starting lineman being over 260. I thought Holley played well 3 passing touchdowns and 1 rushing. Jones played well with about 100 yards rushing probably another 50 receiving. And then they had a freshman Estes replace Bradley at safety and he was excellent with 5 tackles and 2 interceptions. I was impressed with Southwestern the QB throws the ball decent and really hurt Glasgow with his legs. Like I said they are big up front and have a pretty good little running back. I was a little surprised Glasgow didn’t really try to go deep much if at all, I think they might have thrown one deep pass but it was off a scramble and wasn’t a called play which was picked off. I think Southwestern is a much better team than they were last year or maybe Glasgow just ain’t as strong I guess we will find out as the season continues.

Wow maybe that’s a sign they are going to be a little better this season.

Station Camp looked incredible last year but a lot of that could’ve been because of how poor ACS was. Give me Station Camp in a instant classic 34-32.

Westmoreland used to be pretty strong I think I’m like the previous poster I can pick ACS because of last year but I will be rooting for them give me Westmoreland 22-13.
