That is a roster that is over a year old and was their sizes from March 2016. They are much bigger next year then they were this past year. For instance they have a kid listed at 5'9" 150, who will be a junior next year and he is now 6'2" 190.

Yes he is a great kid from the times I have met him. My son knows him and said the same thing.

Beechwood will do just fine and will compete with SK and Cov Cath. They will probably handle everyone else, with Corbin probably being their toughest other game. I am sure the kids on their team are excited to have a 6a school on the schedule to see how they stack up. The have a lot of competitors on that team that won't back down. I think the early tough schedule is good because they get bored in district. They also scrimmage Connor every year and are right there with them.

He only has one season left. He is a junior right now. But should have a big year next season.

Playing devils advocate, maybe it's an attitude, all about me situation. I am sure the coach has a reason. Sometimes it's a life lesson, which is more important than winning a 6th grade basketball game.

I disagree with this. Beechwood was no good when they played Conner in August and hung with them. After that game I thought Connor was very average and I thought Beechwood would go 5-5 this year. I have never seen a team improve as much as BW in one season. I also think BW is better than Conner. One common opponent was New Cath and Conner kind of struggled with them at home and BW completely dominated them late in the year on the road.

We will find out. BW and SK play the next two years. Starting at SK next year.

Because the game was being broadcasted, during timeouts they have a guy with an orange glove on who lets the refs know when to go. He was still on the field with his hand up and did not give the refs the ok to resume play.

Hopefully Beechwood can get Dixie and highlands back on the schedule.

Beechwood is much deeper and balanced than they were last year and last year were without there fullback, running back and middle linebacker against pikeville. Also, keep in mind Russellville gave BW fits last year, brought everyone back this year and BW dominated them.

In my opinion, Newport Catholic, Holy Cross and Russellville are all as good as Hazard and anyone Hazard played. And if you site New Cath's record, look At who they played. 3 6 A schools and Belfrey. New Cath is also big and pretty fast and Beechwood had no issues with that size and speed.

Beechwood actually had three sophomores make the list. Fisher and Derry are also sophomores.

The center, right guard and right tackle are sophmores. The two starting def tackles also sophmores.

I was surprised how fat simon kenton was up front. They need to change the diets for those poor boys. They have bigger bellies than I do. Is that by design? Look at Trinity or strong Ohio teams and you will not see that.

I know Cov Cath lost to Ryle, but they may be best team in NKY. They are rolling and may win State. They beat a really good Ohio team in Sycamore and are just rolling teams. They have good skill players, and a really good line. If not this year then next year they will be the team to beat in my opinion.

How do the playoffs work this year? Would Russellville have to travel to Beechwood if both make it to the semi finals this year? Beechwood had to go to Russellville last year.
