NewCath wins the coin toss, will defer to the 2nd half

The OMEGA Processing / ProScan Imaging Game of the Week webcast features Beechwood (8-1) vs NewCath (5-4).

 

Even though this is no longer a District game, these two teams come ready to play each other. Beechwood has always been one of the top Class 1A schools in the State and the same goes for NewCath in Class 2A for quite some while.

 

Beechwood’s only loss was to CovCath in Week 4, and last week they beat Dayton 50-0. NewCath has 3 straight wins and defeated Newport last week 56-14. These two teams are 6-6 against each other the past 12 years and Beechwood has won the last 2 contests.
