This is a basketball thread, not football!

I don't care what teams are playing,that is a no call. If there was a foul it had no impact on the play.The ref was not in position to make the call and the one that was didn't call anything.it is flat out wrong for that ref to call,knowing no time would be on the clock. The players need to fight it out in overtime! Ridiculous call.

It should have been a no call! Overtime and let players decide. Everyone was looking for this arrogant ref from previous night,sure enough he's the one who blew the whistle. Boyle did play bad for second game in a row though.Corbin nor Whitley should have given us a game. I'm a little upset with our effort after tonight.

Have to agree with PP92,nothing flashy,Phillips just gets it done.

My dad always talked about playing against King Kelly Coleman. The old gym is still standing I think,because I've played in it several times.

Robbins makes a difference just with athleticism alone! He is a very good decision maker too.

This team definitely will battle with Wayne,Lincoln,and the rest of the 12th region. I can't wait to watch some of these games!

The rebels are a team to reckon with. Hagan Tyler can flat out score. Jeremiah Bell can score as well,but his leadership at point is what makes him so important. Colton Elkins has so improved over the summer, he can throw some crazy dunks down and block or change shots. I love Chapman Beans game though. He can shoot,defend, and hustle like crazy!! Go Rebels.

I think there are more than one team in 12th region that should be on this list.. Boyle Co.,Lincoln Co.....

I hate the fact that you have 6th grade 13 year olds and 14 year old 7th graders playing.Basketball is bad enough but football is worse. The thing is you only notice how much better they are at these grades,competition eventually catches up. I wish school ball would do the same!

You must be one of those that don't have a shot at the regional title. No need to hate on those that are! We won't troll on your good times when they come,if they ever do.I give you an open invitation to come watch some good basketball in Boyle if you get a chance.

Timmy,good luck. I have enjoyed watching you play,regardless of competition you never backed down. I feel he is one of the best at running and controlling the game tempo. I don't care what anyone says, take him off the floor for Lincoln and they no longer compete for 12th region title....period.

This is what I love. Basketball, by far my favorite sport, let's go!! I'll get to see some middle school action first, priming me for some high school action. I'll have all the action I can handle just in the 12th region! I'm like a little kid ,all giddy right now. I think PP92 and myself will have the "Boyle Rebels" gym rocking.

NKU is getting a really nice player in Hagan. I almost bet some bigger D1 offers come his way this year. Congrats!!

I agree, that's why some people talk how awesome these kids are when they're actually some almost 2 years older.Two years in middle school makes a major difference. It also hurts some of these kids when they are use to having their way against younger kids. High school reveals it though!

Most freshmen will turn 15 after school starts, not 16. It doesn't matter though, unless kids are athletically superior it only shows in middle. The other kids catch them in high school and you really can't see the difference.

I was there yesterday watching Hoop Dreams win two games and The Ville too. I seen Roy Williams, Mike Brey, Phil Martini, Sean woods, Scott Pageant,Leonard Hamilton , Davidson's head coach and several others.Talked to Evan Hall about his recruiting. IUPUI has offered and several other D1. I also heard Army offered Jacob Conway. My boys couldn't believe ol Roy walked in, watching some player on Boo Williams team.
