Shoelaces
Who are the best freshmen in your district or region?
polarbear98
Havent seen him play yet but Isiah Garrison (Mason County) is probally the best freshman in the 39th district and possibily tops in the 10th region. If not top in the 10th region he is a close second. Just my humble opinion.
LionEagle
Gage Hughes from Greenup County is a dynamic player who started for GCHS last year as an 8th grader. He actually broke OJ Mayo's record for most points scored in a 16th regional tournament game by an 8th grader last season.

GoHardITP
6th region typically does not have many freshmen contributing, but several teams and one in particular have freshmen playing major roles. Fairdale has a freshmen who hit a game winning shot against J-Town, Glenn Queen who scored 4 points in their victory. PRP had to call upon Gerald Gray a back-up PG after the players in front of him fouled out against Taft out of Cincinnati. Gerald hit the game winning 3 point shot with less than a minute to go. Fern Creek has by far the most talented freshmen bunch in the region and likely the state. 6 players from the dominant 2018 AAU program, KY Gators all went to Fern Creek. That AAU team won the Division 1 State tournament three years in a row and also played up in the 9th grade State AAU tournament this past May and won the 9th grade title as an 8th grade team. Three players are major contributors for the Fern Creek Varsity. Trey Hill is averaging double figures in points and 2nd on team in rebounds. Ahmad Price is averaging 9 points and is 3rd in rebounds for the team and 2nd in steals. PG Anthony Wales is averaging 7.5 PPG and leads the team in assists (5/game) and steals (5/game) with only one turnover on the season. The team is 2-0 and the three freshmen are major contributors. Fern Creek could be a major force in the region perhaps much earlier than expected even with playing three freshmen in major roles.

Agent33
Fitzgerald and Butt from Southwestern, Bryce Sloan from Boyle, Trae Miller from Lincoln. I think Jared Southerland from Danville and Trevon Faulkner from Mercer have the most potential. All these kids play in the 12th region.

Walter
Doesn't Christian County have a really good freshman? Or am I thinking of another WKY school?
GoHardITP
Doesn't Christian County have a really good freshman? Or am I thinking of another WKY school? I am guessing you are thinking about JJ Reed from Paducah Tilgman. 6'6" and as high a ceiling as any high school player in the state in any class. He could be a very highly recruited player when he graduates.
PurplePride92
Chase Phillips from Lincoln County is the best freshman I have seen so far from the 45th District. Danny Butts and Steven Fitzgerald of Southwestern and Trevon Faulkner of Mercer County are three of the best I have seen from the 12th Region.
