All Time Leading Scorers

Featured Replies

Just wondering if anyone has a shot to make it into the top 20 on Kentucky's all time scoring list this season or can get to 3000 points for their career? Barring injury Morgan County Junior Jordan Perry (over 1800 now) could move into possibly 5th place by the end of his high school career. Another 16th region player from Elliott co. Jonathan Ferguson had 3,377 for his career and is the 5th all time leading scorer.

Austin Crawford from Bracken County is at 988 one game into his sophomore season. Certainly has the time (and ability) to get to 3000.

I think Cameron Justice (KCC) is on pace to finish somewhere in the top 5.

Wow, didn't realize Tim Couch was a 3,000 point scorer for Leslie. Just think about how much higher some of those marks could be if some of those guys had the three point line while playing.

What is his total right now?

Camron has 2813 points.

There was an article in the Herald Leader pre-season info about him. I don't remember exactly, but I think it was about 2800 going into the year.

My dad always talked about playing against King Kelly Coleman. The old gym is still standing I think, because I've played in it several times.

King Kelly may have scored 6000 points if they had the three point shot in his day. Ervin Stepp's total also would be MUCH higher.

Interesting that well over half on this list did it before the 3 point shot. Now some of them were inside players so it wouldn't have made much difference, but many weren't. Also about half of the schools no longer exist.

I'm surprised Richie Farmer isn't on the list. Any idea how many he finished with?

He apparently didn't miss the list by much. Richie played (but didn't start) as an 8th grader. His scoring averages, starting with his freshman year, were 14, 18, 23 and 26. Multiply that by the number of games Clay County played each year and you get approximately 2,825 points for the final four years.
