Gibson is such a great player! With Kamryn Thornsberry back from ankle injury Knott was at full strength for the first time since before Christmas. Allie Ohair had huge game for Knott and Thornsberry made some huge defensive plays. Lady Pats must improve free throw shooting.

Cameron Jones, 6'7 242 lb. Freshman QB had pretty good debut Friday against East Ridge. 13/18 215 yards 4 tds ( all to Dalton Cornett in his first ever football game) Jones' 4th td came was game winning 48 yard pass with under a minute to play!

Just to rebuke a few things....Facilities? Knott has one the best grass surfaces around to play on, field house with weight room..... Feeder system? Grades K-2 are now in their 4th year (with over 100 playing) of flag football...3/4th grades are playing tackle football.....5/6th grade were 11-1 last season...7/8th were 14-1 losing only to East Perry. The players are responding to Coach Chapman and his staff, which includes Steve Hollon, Irton Sparkman, Justin Bates, Randall Mullins, and Kevin Jacobs. People are going to be VERY surprised at the team Coach Chapman puts on the field.

I can tell you one thing Knott has plenty of respect for Calllway Co. These kids are on a mission and that is to win a state championship . They have had the same demeanor for every game they played this year. They know only one way to play and that is to play hard. As for the schedule they played, Coach King tried to pick up games with teams from Louisville and Lexington, but for various reasons they couldn't take place. It has been a nightmare for Coach King to make a scheule for the last three years. And sparky the team from Arizona Shadow Mountain you put down beat Scott County by 20. I say hats off to the non district teams that manned up and played Knott Central ! Go Patriots !

Palyed and beat # 1 teams from Arizona (Shadow Mt.)69-56, and Arkansas (North Little Rock) 70-53 lost to #1 team in Florida class 3A 50-49, and beat #3 ranked team in South Carolina Spring Valley 78-46 with South Carolina commit Dozier..That's a pretty good bunch of nobodys! Also beat Cov Cath 78-66 (led by 22 at 1 point), beat Licoln Co. @ Lincoln Co 85-59. I rest my case!

Camron has total package, he has actually run the point for 2 seasons, rebounds well, a on the floor coach, and plays darn good defence. You will see him at Vandy next year and I will bet he will start.
