Same scenario as last year. Underrated Region 1 team against highly rated Eastern team. McCracken handled Wayne County and Calloway will upset Knott. Calloway loaded with team full of talented seniors.

Skyler Hunter can help negate Evan Hall. The real question is if anyone can slow down Justice.

KCC is loaded with talented seniors as well. Been there 4 straight years and will have the best player on the court. Go pats.

I hope Knott County Central wins, but I don't know enough about the western Kentucky teams to make a good prediction. I know that Calloway County has a great record and play some pretty solid compitition. But KCC has played a good schedule this season, too.

I'm going to pick KCC to win this game but by how much I don't know. My guess is it will be single digits.

Question for the western Kentucky members on BGP, is Calloway a team that likes to play a fast tempo?

They will make the tempo the way they want. They are a solid team of seniors that play an unbelievable man to man defense. On the offensive end they can pound the ball inside or shoot the 3. Very tough team to matchup to.

I dont think Knott will have any trouble matching up.

....

Love the confidence of the Calloway County folks, will make this thread a lot more fun the week. What I know about Calloway County would rattle around the inside of a thimble, but I know plenty about KCC, so suffice it to say I will be shocked if Calloway Co. is able to pull the upset. Most of that is based on the fact that I think Justice is so good, it will take something special to end his career short of the semi's.

Certainly a game I'm looking forward to more now than I was a day or so ago.

Back in December, I saw both teams play. Calloway vs. Christian Co (at Hoptown) and KCC vs. CovCath (at Rowen Co.). I will concede that both games were a lifetime ago in terms of season length... That said, unless Calloway has made incredible progress, KCC wins by 15 to 20.

FYI! Knott has not lost the rebounds battle a single time this year. Beaten by Sagemont, Florida when shooting less than 30% and lost to SW when SW shot better than 60%.

Based on the schools who are looking at him at the next level, I'm a little higher in Hall than I previously was. If they have a kid who negates him, then that kid is a player and he's put on a heck of a performance in Rupp against a guy whose been there a few times. Will be a matchup I'm watching now.

Knott has played the worst schedule of any team I have ever seen. For supposedly being such a highly regarded team they played no one good. They wont win it. Justice and Hall are great players and BB should have challenged them with some tougher opponents.
