Congrats Evan.

What other offers did he have, anyone know?

Morehead, EKU and NKU

Quite surprised, I had him pegged for EKU.

Good Luck.

He has family that lives in the Indy area...

Seems like IUPUI frequently takes players from the Bluegrass State.

Congratulations, Mr. Evan Hall. I’ve enjoyed watching you play at Rupp, LexCath, Lafayette, and MoCo, and even had a rainy winter’s night making my only visit ever to Hindman to find Knott County Central. Hope to see you continue to develop this season. The Jaguars should be a real good experience and a good fit.

It was the high school class of 2011 when IUPUI loaded up on Kentucky kids. An older boy from the AAU club my son played with chose IUPUI and has been very pleased – Marcellus Barksdale from Tates Creek. Marcellus has graduated in 3 years with NABC Honors Court grade recognition, and is using his 4th year to get an MBA. I think he lost his first season to injury and may have a 5th year still available.

Details at The Official Website of the IUPUI Jaguars.

The other Ky kids that year: Ian Chiles, graduated in 3 years and now at Tennessee; Lyonell Gaines, now at Morehead State; Donovan Gibbs, played 3 yrs; and Jordan Shanklin, played 2 yrs. Don’t know current status on those last two.

Good luck, Mr. Hall!

Congrats to Evan. Was hoping he would choose NKU to go along wth Hagen and Drew Mcdonald. Those 3 would have formed a great nucleus to build around. Best of luck to him

Good job Evan Hall! You will do well there.

Great kid, great family, and great choice. His mom and dad feel comfortable with the fact he has family available if needed. Good luck Evan!!!

Indy is a great city to spend 4 years.
