Good showing for Anthony Davis and the offense tonight. I don’t know that I’ve ever seen so much freshman contribution at BG. Kinda cool and scary at the same time. When BG started stuffing things up better in the second half, Emongo made the difference. Outstanding player! Thought the Purples had some tough breaks tonight. Happens. No excuses, congratulations SC, and on to the last piece of this four game gauntlet with South Warren.

Gotta live with some of it from AD and invest in the growth! I like what it’s done for us. It’ll just take time.

Are both teams just going to score at will?

I'm more curious about the BG O vs the SC D... I think the result there will yield the winner. Can the Purples garner enough offense from the freshmen they play to get a W? What are Scott Co's strengths on that side of the ball?

Glasgow had to work for it a little more than I thought they’d have to but I think this was expected. Good win and a good start for Jackson Arnett and Co

It’s not a shock to me at all. Spartans outplayed Manual in the 2H and were simply the better team.

Gotta wonder if there’s a chance we see the FR Anthony Davis this half.

Considering the level of competition I'm not all that displeased. Certain situations have had some questionable moments but Purps are a bit outmatched upfront. The effort is there though.

I keep trying to tell myself this has a chance to be competitive but have no reasoning to back it. Going to have to take X in a score similar to the Owensboro performance. 31-7 X

Hate it, but… Bowling Green is looking at 0-4 right in the face. Hoping for a different outcome, but it’s tough sledding over here. I don’t know that #1 is warranted right now.

Word on the street is Barber has a dislocated elbow. Not good. The loss is concerning but it’s just that, a loss. Have to move on and very quickly. So many things that need to be done to garner some offense after Travey.

Let’s see who steps up with Barber out. It was a question who could be the other perimeter threat. Well we’re going to have to find out. And really soon. I’m all about a good run game but one dimensional football = trouble.

Concerning for Hart. Tells me a lot about their dip in talent. This, atleast to me, looks to be one of Coach Adler’s lesser talented teams but they play hard for their coach. That was a grit win, especially being behind early. Congrats to the Cougars are in order. I don’t think this sets up well going forward for Hart. They certainly have winnable games on their schedule but the path forward to win the district again will be an extremely tough one.
