I guess for me, as a casual viewer of Purples hoops this season, there were some not-so-fun moments that at the time made me think this wouldn't have been in the cards. Whether attributing it to the draw, some upsets, or teams simply tiring out... I am tickled to see them get to this point. Enjoying the ride!

One of the more improbable/unexpected runs I can think of a Bowling Green team going on in my lifetime regardless of sport.

I'm thrilled with how it's gone, but I suppose I didn't expect the Purps to control this game in such a decisive way. This has been dominating.

South Oldham (31-5) completes the fourth quarter comeback against Jtown to move onto the KHSAA Final Four tomorrow morning against Bowling Green at 11 a.m. Bowling Green (30-6) has had a grind it out type of approach the last two games at Rupp Arena in physically demanding battles against Adair Co and Ashland. The Dragons from South Oldham will look to continue their hot shooting from the perimeter into the semifinals. Simple questions: Do the Dragons stay hot from deep and put the pressure on Bowling Green? Or will the Purples tenacity and physical approach make things difficult and lead the way to the night cap tomorrow? What say you?

Adair, Ashland, and South Oldham through the first three rounds... if the Purples happen to get by S.O they will likely see Great Crossing or Cooper. Several different rankings out there with where these teams fall so I suppose it's up to the eye of the beholder... BUT This is a very testing and daunting stretch of games IMO. Has to be tiring. I'm sure there have been tougher stretches in previous state tournaments, but this would be quite validating if they were to make it to the championship game. Ice down and get some rest, going to be another one of those games tomorrow I'd say.

Quality skill players don’t grow on trees so its a great development for the Jags. I would say that they need to improve up front before the notice needs to be issued though. That’s where the seperation is.

There is no way I would put OHS over Franklin Simpson (2 state titles in past 10 years). Switch those 2 and I think that is a pretty accurate list.

If Central lost 20 seniors and yet there are no auto losses where they are completely overwhelmed, I’d say that sets up for great learning experiences against high quality opponents. Win or lose. I do agree though, it could be tough sledding in terms of their record. I'm just a fan of the aggressive nature.

The 8 seed projection from Lunardi with a top 20 SOS and top 30 NET ranking confuses me. I try to stay in my own lane with that stuff because I’m a bit ignorant to it but could someone explain to me how that is the case?

I was "concerned" a couple weeks ago... This is honestly just weird at this point.

When the smoke cleared in regards Chad Griffin, Arnett became the obvious choice. Some on here might have thought he was the better choice anyway based on the comments I saw. Time will tell but I like Jackson Arnett and think he will do a fine job!

It’s not alright at all, IMO. They either are clueless or don’t care to make the commitment. I thought it was bad before I knew the amount but $7,500 is horrendous.

AT, I appreciate your thoughts on the process and figured you would be the best person to ask. This thread has only discussed the possibility of Arnett and Griffin being the frontrunners to land the job. As you mentioned in your previous post, Glasgow has had issues attracting coaches due to the reasons you listed. Do you have any different names that haven't been discussed as possibilities for this opening that you deemed to be better in your opinion?
