I thought it was good to play a decent opponent in round one. MNH played very hard. Purples eventually separated but the Maroons didn’t quit and made BG work for it.

Nice write up @DevilMayCare ! Ill have to roll with Hendo in this one. But you have to appreciate the direction John Myers has Barren County heading as a program.

As a side note, since this game was renewed in 2011, Bowling Green leads with an 8-6 advantage over the Tigers. If you extend it to when they matched up since the turn of 2000, it’s a dead lock 8-8 series. Needless to say, what a great game for these two teams. Super competitive and just an overall superb match up that has blossomed in to a mini rivalry due to the coaching trees connected and the game results in the series. This win likely prevents a longgg 7+ hour round trip in the semis for Bowling Green (given they make it that far). Just a huge unexpected win. The fashion they did it was stunning. Credit to those kids.

Dane Parsley has had a great HS career. I wish it meant more team success the last two years but the guy has proved to be one of the best to put on the uniform at Warren East.

It’s a long game but I’m pretty stunned right now.

I’m very fond of the strides Hart County has made as a program. I feel like Beechwood has no business being below them though. Respectfully.

I’ll throw in the coaching change as well. Couple that with mostly a complete staff overhaul after the HC change have made the results simply not there. Feel bad for him.
