DF, I really tried the hardest I could to follow. Impressive how you put it all together. That post is a 10/10 and then some.

I think you hit the nail on the head VoR. Especially considering MNH returned the bulk of their talent off a team that clocked Fort Campbell 56-7 the year prior. This one doesn’t compare in it’s totality but several were predicting a walk in the park win over South Warren for Bowling Green. I didn’t agree with it, but quite a few on here indicated that thought process. It was a big upset win for the Spartans, snapping a three game skid against their rivals. Then again, how many times are you going to beat Brandon & Chuck Smith lead teams in a row before they get one back?

Unfortunately, I think this could potentially be ugly. I am hoping for the opposite obviously, but trying to be real. Up front against this Tiger team will be likely the tallest task of the season. Comparable to the Douglass game. Purples may put some points up but I just don’t have a scenario in my mind where Bowling Green walks away with a win. Would be tickled for them to prove me wrong, and I’d love to be. I just don’t see it this go around. X 38 BG 14

2021. Before that, 2002. Usually, there is a pretty large gap in regards to true “down” years. I don’t think BG will be down like those 02 & 21 teams next season but there will be a good amount of turnover. In the past, Bowling Green has shaken off graduation pretty well for the most part.

Comparative score against Owensboro makes that projection null and void IMO. Have a hard time believing the Aces would keep up realistically. Would love to hear thoughts from @Devils Fan and @Brown on the matter.

Just a lot of choices I think overall from the Purples side of it you have to sit back and wonder what if. A lot of folks were calling for a Purple blowout.. I thought that was over the top personally. I predicted a one score win for BG and I’m not overly shocked with how this one ended. There are worse losses to take IMO but this does set up an entirely different course than what the Purples saw last year. South deserves to be congratulated. Until next time! 5A just got more interesting. Onward!

Would love to be wrong and see them step on the gas this Friday! I’ve just seen too many of these games at this point to feel as if it’s a certainty.Over before it starts. PT 66 WE 7Personally, I’m a bit hesitant to predict a multi score win. I can see the same approach from last season being applied to this game for South. Happy to have the game at home this go around, that makes me feel slightly better. I have no doubt the Purples will put some points up, I’m more concerned about the ability to get off the field and limit long sustaining drives. I think it will be a close game.
