Final. Congrats to ACS and a great come back.

Clock management is a hard concept now a days. That’s a tough lesson to take with so much on the line.

Congrats Allen County Scottsville.
That should earn you a home playoff game!

congratulations!

From the sound of it, it aounds like East would like a redo on some things in this one.

Honestly, both teams left a lot out on the field in terms of things they’d like back. Allen County-Scottsville lived in the Raider half of the first half and had only 7 to show for it. East never figured out that they needed to bleed clock. There are ways to work tempo and still work the clock. This comeback is impossible if they do a better job of it. There were costly penalties for each team, and critically, East drove to the 4 up two late, but a penalty took them back to the 20 and out of field goal range. Just a lot of errors.

I don’t believe the better team won, but two things can be true and I don’t believe the Raiders were out coached in this one either. Thought the East defense played the best they have all year against a good offense, just let up a few plays late that made the difference. The QB for ACS Braylon Adams made a lot of plays that I wasn’t expecting him to make, very shifty in the pocket and a great arm, have to give credit where it is due and he laid it all on the line for his team last night. Parsley carved the Patriots secondary which was expected.

It’s hard to understand how the Raiders blew this game away in all honesty they dominated all evening; you don’t like to blame the coaches because the players play but this one was solely on the decision making from the Warren East Head Coach. Calling timeouts at unnecessary times that they ended up needing at the end, onside kicks up 16 points in the 4Q. It’s 5 minutes left in the game and the Raiders were up 2 points, and I didn’t see the back judge raise his hand one time to signal that it’s only 5 seconds on the play clock the entire drive that eventually stalled out at the four yard line. Drove the ball 60 yards down the field and didn’t take 3 minutes off the clock, ACS didn’t have to use a timeout and had plenty of time to drive the length of the field to take the lead and eventually win the game. Just careless coaching, I understand you want to be aggressive and dictate the game but I’ve never seen such awful clock management, congratulations to the Patriots for capitalizing on the opportunity.
