Owensboro Catholic is not better then Bowling Green, Trinity, Frederick Douglass, X, South Warren, Lou Manual, CAL, etc. They are getting WAY TOO MUCH credit for a average schedule.

Manual got beat handily by CAL so wouldn't be a stretch to think Owensboro Catholic could do the same. St. X beat Meade County by 24 and Owensboro Catholic is much better than Meade County so I think Owensboro Catholic could beat some of those teams and wouldn't be a surprise to me.

Comparative score against Owensboro makes that projection null and void IMO. Have a hard time believing the Aces would keep up realistically.  Would love to hear thoughts from @Devils Fan and @Brown on the matter.

After watching the SW vs BG game and seeing how BG struggled with SW’s QB, I do feel like Atwell would give the Purples even more problems. But the Aces defense can’t slow down the Purples offense IMO. I feel the Purples win by 1-2 scores in a high scoring game.

If Atwell ankle is not healed, then no BG wins by 3 TDs. If Atwell is healthy the game is closer by TD. 

If OCath is better than BG we should just mail them the 2A Trophy.

I guess I am "You all" here but I mostly agree with you, play a tougher schedule Owensboro Catholic.

With that said, OC played a little girl's schedule last year too and nearly won 2A.  Additionally, they have an amazing high school QB and if he is healthy look out. 

I'm going to do a pickem contest starting in the 2nd round of playoffs between the TP94, Calpreps, and Massey ratings and see which system picks the most winners. I think it will be an interesting competition.
