Boyle enters 2-0 after narrowly escaping a 28-21 win over LCA. After a dominating first half where they went up 21-0, they saw an equally bad second half where they were outscored 21-7. Boyle has a lot to figure out and not a long time to do it.

Lexington Catholic enters this one 1-1 coming off a 29-14 win over Paul Laurence Dunbar. Wasik got the start at QB and those genes run deep at Lex Cath and the QB position.

Who takes this one?

I think Boyle runs away with this one. Wasik is such a dynamic player but in a perfect world he wouldn’t be QB. He’s better served at several other positions. Catholic continues to be reliant on the run and will have to count on their defense to keep them competitive against good competition and that until is also still a work-in-progress.

I think Boyle County cleans up the mistakes this week and runs away with it.

Gotta love rivalry week!!  Go Rebels!!!  ( My obligatory post for the Lexington Catholic game)

Boyle Co. 35-7.

Catholic week always makes me nostalgic for the '99-'00 version of this rivalry. For a brief couple of years, it was the hottest rivalry going.

Maybe those days will come back around sooner rather than later.

Boyle should have no trouble making it 13 of the last 14 meetings in their favor.

The other team has to win some to make it a rivalry.

If Boyle doesn't win by a good bit, I'd be disappointed.

This LexCath tradition always turns me off.  Way too violent.

It's Catholic!  Refuse to lose!  #BeAboutIt
