I would like to see kentucky go to a point system similar to Indiana. The more you win the higher you go in class, creates great competition and makes playoffs interesting with new match ups every year.

I find it extremely interesting that a man walks around Louisville for two years campaigning for the Manual job, even telling people that he has the job, gathering a staff and then decides he doesn't want it. It's not like JCPS payscale is a secret, sounds like an emotional mess.

I can't speak to the 40 times other then #9 Jairus Brents. There is a reason UK offered him as 7th grader, and why he is the #2 cornerback in the country for class of 2018 with multiple D1 offers. Young man is a player.

Any chance Manual promotes someone currently on the staff? Maybe Russell Rigdon, just mentioned him because he is listed as the Assistant HC? If not what other candidates would be on their short list besides Glaser and Redmond? Any assistants still coaching around Louisville that were on Mayes staff, one of his guys?

Do they have a few great players, absolutely. Do they have a roster full to fill all positions with 6A starters, not a chance. They beat everyone they should of beat the last few years, and beat Male a couple times when Male by far had the better team. A successful football program must have a supportive administration or it doesn't work, is my only point.

Doesn't matter who they bring in if Jerry Mayes and the administration doesn't allow football players to be accepted. Lucas would have 120 to 150 players apply each year and get 15 or so players in and only a handful of them would be "players", meanwhile the other "BIG 4" schools play with 50 to 100 freshman. It was time for Coach to leave, I wish him the best.

Nothing like grown men talking trash about 15 and 16 year old teenagers. I sure don't know all the details about the transfer however I would expect the state investigated it and endorsed it as legal. Let's just have a little more class when discussing young men and there playing abilities, regardless of whether you are burned that they left your favorite program or not.

I am not sure Manual can beat Ballard the second time around. I watched them play Male and they have 10 or 11 injured players and the majority of them are starters, especially on the offensive line. If they can pull out a win in the first round it will be simply because of coaching, however wish them the best of luck!

Only 2 have came since the season started, all the others started the school year at Waggener. But you are right I am sure those kids are just wishing they could be 1 and 10 again.
