I clearly don't know the story, however that does sound unfortunate. Nonetheless, regardless of his personal life and issues, he should take account into his players lives. This is detrimental to a program to have 1 year coaches. These young men only have 4 years to play this game at the high school level.

I heard today Ballard offered Redmond and he declined. He is possibly taking a position working for Matt Bevin. Now what for Ballard?

Well at least it sounds like they are doing their due diligence. So do we know for sure which Jaggers it is?

I didn't think it was Josh, he had said he wasn't interested in Louisville jobs. I have been told they told the staff weeks ago that they wouldn't be hiring from within and they wouldn't handle interviews yet because it was "basketball season".

This theory never works though, kids are not stupid, they don't want to follow their middle school coach they want to move on to better, more experienced coaches. At least that is the case with the better athletes.

Ballard interviewed over a week ago for their head coaching job, looks like candidates were not impressive. They still have not announced anyone. They have reached out to Bob Redmond which would be a home run if it solidifies!

Update on Ballard: Interviewed today, Interviewed Lakunta Farmer, Westport middle school head coach, and Stallings Moore HS head coach. I am not sure that these were the only 3, however this is step 1 of total destruction of a football program. Don't get me wrong, I think Lakunta is a solid candidate, however you cannot tell me these were the 3 best that applied.

Not sure what is going on. The window closes on Friday for high school application in Louisville, it would not surprise me if he is waiting until the deadline so that students who apply don't switch.

Scroggins has accepted a new position as an administrator, from what I have been told. Wolf is speculation from parents within the program, not sure how much of that is true.

I am hearing Ty Scroggins is gone for sure from Central, and that Wolf from Male is supposedly taking a job out of state, that is from an incoming freshman parent, not sure of how true that is. Does anyone have information on either?

I agree that ballard is the best public school coaching job in louisville outside of Male. They have high academic standards with the ability to get in students. Manual could easily be the top school if administration can get out of the way.

I would say not a chance of being top tier, that is unless you are from the mountains and don't want to leave.

Absolutely agree, keep it 6 classes, just allow it to be based on points and size. You can only move up 1 class level at a time, which would keep schools from playing out of their skill level. Once they find their skill level, their points level out.

Not a bad hire, Carmony is a great guy from what I know of him. There was not a great pool of coaches to interview from what I have been told.
