What does that have to do with the defensive line rotation? The offense has scored a total of 31 points in the 3 games they lost. Learn a little football before you begin critiquing other teams, it makes you look ignorant, and we don't want that.

It seems to have worked all year, you play what you have. Number 1 rushing defense in the state and completely wore out McCracken County all night. Explain how that is horrible?

People keep talking about Manual's depth, they do platoon, however they only played 13 people on defense last night. The same 4 defensive lineman playes every snap.

Manual offense struggled early but found a groove in the second half. Manual's Defense played well all night, gave up some early yardage to some great players. However, in the second half they completely shut down McCracken holding them to 40 yards, 4 stops on 4th down and only allowing them on their side of the field once which ended in a pick. Manual's front seven, with their scheme is the best I have ever seen. Manual had 3 starters out of the secondary and still did their job. Impressive performance.

You are correct in your assessment, Manual is a team that will attempt to take what you give them, and that is what occurred against Male. Hard to run against a +2 count in the box, so they went to the air. It should be a great game, Manuals defense is like a small college team with a very good scheme that puts their stars in position to make great plays. They don't allow much in terms of yards or points. They have 4 shutouts, give up an average of 9.3 points per game, have not given up 100 yards rushing in a game this year, are giving up a total of 143 yards total offense per game, and have recorded 8 safeties, and 2 defensive touchdowns. They could improve on their takeaways.

Ram was saying Manual was prepared for the Air Raid offense in reference to McCracken County, I believe.

What a first round battle! McCracken is a top 3 statistical offense with D1 talent on offense going against one of the best defenses in recent years in Kentucky. Should turn out to be a great game. I will take Manual in this one 31-21. This could be more of a spread if Manual's offense controls the ball and limits mistakes. Best of luck to both teams!

At first glance I would say DuPont Manual @ McCracken.

I would give Manual the nod at this point, their defense is stingy verses the run and pass. Manual is one of the best defenses over the last several years. CAL statistically and South Warren, however not near the competition as the others have played.

It is clear that this will be a defensive battle. I think Manual is do for a win over one of the Catholic powers, they need this game in the worst way. I think they will come back with a strong offensive effort, IF they can score 14, they will win, their defense is playing unbelievable. My pick is Manual.

They haven't reported stats correctly, it says the have given up about the same in rushing.

If any team goes winless in the Super District it will be Trinity, their only chance at a win just passed with their loss to St. X.

I will take Manual 24-14. I don't think Trinity can score more than that on Manual's Defense. With Nero I think Manual wins easily.

I would take Male 28-20.

That must have been a typo, there is no way they have the top defense in the Super District. I would rank them 3rd in their district behind Manual and St X when it comes to defense.
