Seneca travels to NKY to face Cooper in the first round matchup. What's everyone's thoughts on this matchup?

If Cooper doesn't win, I'd be shocked.

Hoping for an upset but expecting Cooper to advance, even with the loss of their tailback.

Cooper will win easy. 51-6

Seneca is the worst 6A team by a long shot.

Any team can win on any day..... Look at the Bengals, for years worst team in NFL then BAM they are 7 and 0.... I suggest Cooper puts the hammer down and not let up. Otherwise they might be sitting at home with SK after this Friday.

Wow...... Crickets, what a boring thread.

Jackson is now the starting running back. I just read in the enquirer TCA had surgery on his foot. Prayers to him on a quick recovery.

NKY football notes: Cooper confident in RB Jackson

I have seen Seneca play against Eastern and they may have the worst football program in 6A. there is no hope. don't be rediculous

Why are they so bad?

Why are they so bad?

I'm not sure. combination of just the students' attitudes about the program, lack of participation, and maybe some bad coaching. Its a pretty rough school. they had probably 35 kids for the varsity game. It hard to see that when football can be a great way for kids to have fun and be a part of something bigger than themselves in high school. I hope it can get turned around soon. I've actually heard rumors of termination of the football program.

Prayers to TCA!!!!!!

They have had 25 players quit, transfer, or injuried during the year. Not that rough of a school. They brought in a new old school coach to turn the program around. Only have 4 seniors playing and 6 juniors. They have played freshman and sophomores all year long. Will not terminate football. Even though JCPS cut all the athletic budget this year, football will not be cut.

I hope not. I also hope that the new coach can instill a new attitude in the young guys and the program can grow. It hasn't been that long ago that Seneca was a competitive, successful program.
