  1. Are they comparing a player to donkey kong? CoopSquad is probably one of the best behaved student sections (and that's not biased)
  2. Love how you call me a Conner hater....wasn't at the game and didn't see official gesturing to him, however as an official shouldn't they know who got fouled and is shooting? Heard it was a great game as district games always are. Hoping all is ok with Dante.
  3. Clyde or someone with officiating experience, if a team illegally sends a player to line, i.e. Not fouled player, is that a technical?
  4. Lexi hit her 1,000th point on Feb 5. She is only a sophomore, I'm curious to know if anyone else has reached this milestone sooner.
  5. Looked like an injury, they had most of his lower leg wrapped and he was limping pretty badly.
  6. Great news yesterday, Aidan and Seth both received letters informing them that they have been selected as Evans Scholars and will receive a full ride scholarship to Ohio State University!
  7. Didn't know you could ride the hip of the player running down the court making contact. NCC was allowed a lot more physical contact than Cooper was. I'm not against a little contact but call it fairly at least. He didn't get out of control, was usually asking for clarification. Did he get heated a few times? Yes but when you see contact not called one way but the other, coaches tend to defend their team. I've seen the coach from St Henry chew into an official longer than what should be allowed and slam his hands into a chair but get no T. I have yet to see Coach Sully get that crazy.
  8. Oh sorry guess I'm the only one who's ever complained about calls for or against their team. Thought this was a public forum for people to express their opinions.
  9. Hmm I read over my own statement and didn't realize I said we got screwed over... Did the officials miss calls? Yes. Was it what did us in? No missed a lot of shots in first quarter and in general. Also left NCC open on a lot of threes. Please Clyde don't put words into my posts. Anyone who says the officials never screw up should probably consult an optometrist, but never said they were the reason we lost. Cooper will get back to their winning ways. After all it is only our second loss
  10. Wouldn't call that a solid officiating game at all. Officials let too much contact slide from NCC and called touchy fouls on Cooper. Especially when the official who missed the elbow right in front of his face calls Runion for reaching (when he touched basketball) the following drive down
  11. Cov Cath should not be above Cooper. Just knocked off Elder 47-45,not to mention beating CC. yes first game of season but that's not an excuse. Guarantee the boys didn't play differently than they will late in the season.
  12. All state they must have forgotten to look outside of Louisville/Lexington
  13. Complicating an otherwise easy decision for the Kellers, they received word yesterday that they are each finalists for the Evans' Scholarship at Ohio State. That is a 4 year renewable full tuition and room/board scholarship. Not bad for "Plan B"!! Good luck on the interview, boys - and then good luck deciding! Bright futures.
  14. Cooper's LB/TE Keller twins have been admitted via early decision to Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in Terre Haute, Indiana. RH is consistently ranked #1 in the nation in multiple undergraduate engineering programs. The brothers each have a 30+ ACT and a 4.0+ GPA. Aidan plans on pursuing Mechanical Engineering while Seth is leaning towards Chemical Engineering. Both will be playing football for the Fighting Engineers. Additionally, it was announced at Cooper this morning, Aidan has been awarded the $5000 Goodwill Scholar Athlete scholarship featured across the Tri-State this season in the Saturday High School Rivals games on Star64. I think all of Cooper is very proud of the twins and wish them the best of luck in this next phase of their lives!
  15. Just has marines there. Believe they make a special announcement and honor a marine
  16. Dante Hendrix became the first player in Cooper history to reach 1,000 yards receiving. He is a very humble player, thanked his teammates for their help in the achievement. He was asked pregame if he was going to get 1,000 and he said all he was worried about was the win. Dante also leads the team in INTs with 6.
  17. Have you watched Cooper? There won't be any doubt, they know what they are doing and it's a long game. Quit trying to stir the pot.
  18. You're correct. Read his post wrong, Watson was out last Conner vs Cooper game
  19. Cooper vs Conner SK vs Ryle Both rematches of regular season, should be good weather and great games
