Lexi hit her 1,000th point on Feb 5. She is only a sophomore, I'm curious to know if anyone else has reached this milestone sooner.

Ally Niece got her 1000 last year as a freshman. Lexi Stapleton got her 1000 this year as a sophomore.

Way to go Lexi!

Erin Boley hit it her freshman year. Whitney Creech as 8th grader.

 

Interestingly, Ally Neace hit 1000 in just her 2nd game as a freshman, but it was also her first game ever playing as a Lady Pioneer at Simon Kenton. She came very close to joining the 1000 point club as 8th grader playing for Scott.

Ally Niece (Simon Kenton) is close to reaching 2000 points as a sophomore. Interesting is that Niece, Held and Lexi Stapleton all played on the same AAU team while they were in Middle School. Some pretty good training took place there.

Lexi Held reached her 1000 point by playing varsity with Cooper for in a little over 2 seasons (she started for varsity about midway her 8th grade year)Some of the others mentioned reached the milestone earlier and played varsity in 6th/7th grade. I personally think the career points should begin with each player the beginning of their freshman year to give a more accurate picture. But congrats Lexi Held (and all other in the 1000 point club members) great job!
