LEX Posted January 1, 2016 Posted January 1, 2016 I was a little shocked they left JJ Ogbogu off the first and second team.
CooperSportsFan Posted January 1, 2016 Posted January 1, 2016 All state they must have forgotten to look outside of Louisville/Lexington
Jack of all Trades Posted January 1, 2016 Posted January 1, 2016 What team is this? If this is the AP team they should be 100% embarrassed to even put this out there. 2 kids from NKY get honorable mention. Why publish an all state team that leaves of a chunk that plays some of the best football in the entire state? My kid getting no recognition what so ever speaks volumes along with several others. Waiting for the excuse of no writers in NKY. This team is worse than the one the Courier Journal put out.
jericho Posted January 1, 2016 Posted January 1, 2016 All state they must have forgotten to look outside of Louisville/Lexington They are trying to make up for the biased USA Today paper all state team
Fire Inside Posted January 1, 2016 Posted January 1, 2016 How is Dante Hendrix not on this list somewhere? One of the top receivers in 6A with a average QB throwing him the ball. I guess he needs to play in Lexington or Lville to get some love.
Clyde Posted January 1, 2016 Posted January 1, 2016 Sadly, this is nothing new. The AP is simply not relevant any longer.
Old-School-Football Posted January 1, 2016 Posted January 1, 2016 Congrats to all 6 Trinity players getting the well deserved recognition. Also, really nice to see some of the Male kids on the 1st-2nd team this time.
Jack of all Trades Posted January 1, 2016 Posted January 1, 2016 No one votes from NKY. And there it is. Not picking on you Clyde, but really really sad that a state puts out an all state team and completely ignores an entire section.
Backspin Posted January 1, 2016 Posted January 1, 2016 If the sponsor of these polls have a selection process and the process isn't followed by voters not submitting votes who should the blame fall on?
Clyde Posted January 1, 2016 Posted January 1, 2016 And there it is. Not picking on you Clyde' date=' but really really sad that a state puts out an all state team and completely ignores an entire section.[/quote'] Weird rules from what I gather. Rick Broering is the ENQ high school writer but is ineligible for some reason. So...no NKY ballot.
Jack of all Trades Posted January 1, 2016 Posted January 1, 2016 If the sponsor of these polls have a selection process and the process isn't followed by voters not submitting votes who should the blame fall on? See the post below. Explains a lot now doesn't it??? This "supposed" all state team is completely flawed when you simply remove sections of the state, one of which I would argue is behind only Louisville in quality football year in and year out.
