Heck, I think the smart thing to do is rely on the daddies to compile tape and stats (it's obvious that's not difficult) and have them submit their cases to the respective voters. I found out today none of the AP voters from that western area voted. They never received an email on the matter.

Yeah, well, my kid can hit a golfball farther than all of your kids.

Just thinking out loud but instead of by class, maybe the AP abound divide the state into 4 regions and appoint a committee in each region to meet and select a first and second team from each region. While the title would change from All State to All State Reguon X for example it would ensure that all the players in the state would have equal opportunity to be selected.

The system has been flawed for quite some time and to be honest print media is on the way out so why should an member of the AP really even give a hoot. They are more concerned with whether or not they will have a job tomorrow.

The AP has always been the poll for most popular players, not necessarily the best players.

I'd like to know how the USA Today Team was selected. I think it's hands down been the best one yet.

BGP tends to be the most solid team every year. With it you have knowledgable respected group of guys around the state that put time in. I think the process should get easier now too with hudl highlights on all of the kids. No perfect system but the eye in the sky doesn't lie.

Every year it's the same old thing somebody is never happy because they felt like their kid should have made the list.... I don't have a dog in this fight and from all the rosters I've seen I don't have an issue with them......

It was already stated by Clyde earlier that NKY does not have a vote. The local media outlet is the Cincinnati Enquirer and according to Clyde the beat writer for high school sports in NKY is told that he does not get a vote. This is not a question of someone not voting at all, but rather not even being given the opportunity to vote period. Thus you are taking the entire northern section of the state completely out of the mix.
