I'm not sure NCC has what it takes to beat CCH on the big floor. IMO

To me the Breds in recent memory are like the Bengals. Big stage and bright lights = bad game

Tied after 1.

CCH went up 8 at half.

NCC tied it about a minute into the 3rd and briefly took a lead.

Close throughout the rest of the 3rd. CCH up 3 at the end of 3.

Newcath never seemed to recover once Moeves went down with the injury. I think Covcath led by 1 at that point. Tried to come back but couldn't go.

First time seeing Fredrick. Kid can ball.

Weyer looked frustrated all night and was forcing things but his dunk on Mayer...oh man.

Covcath might be undersized but they really crash the boards and get after it on defense. Those two things will win you a lot of games.

How does CJ Or Flood not get player of the game for CCH? Listening to the broadcast it sounded like those two had great games. Even the CCH broadcast crew felt player of the game for CCH would between them to with probably going with the senior. Shocker?!?! Glad to see Flood back playing well. Congrats to CJ on a good game.

Weyer hurt his wrist or fingers on the same play Moeves went down on.

Can't believe they're allowed to lean, wrap and hold on Weyer regardless of where he is on the court.

That arena is not a friendly place for the Breds.

Surprise to me ..... I thought NCC was the better team

Weyer is no doubt a talented kid, but man he forces up some bad shots. Credit to CCH for not allowing him to get in a comfort zone, but flat footed threes out of rhythm and fade away baseline 17 footers are not the answer.

I thought CVH was really passive the entire 1st half, but his 5-0 spurt really changed the game in the 3rd along with the pick and roll delivery to Flood for an easy score. I like him developing his game as a facilitator, and he has come a long way there. Also nice to see him step up with NCC surging and put momentum back on his side.

CJ Frederick is a flat out bucket getter. Never seemed out of sorts on the big stage and his corner 3 was the dagger. Bright future for that young man...

Both sides were physical. I think the saying is, if you can't stand the heat then get out of the kitchen. And Weyer left the kitchen

Props to Heppler, he played a great game tonight. Not a lot of points but he is the one guy CCH has that can bang with Weyer and boy did he. He flat wore him down. My game ball goes to Heppler for doing the dirty work. He can be a big asset for CCH down the stretch.
